I've just bought Doctor Who Series 1 - 6 + The Specials on DVD as hmv had them all at a a tenner a throw. In an non-upgrade, I've bought these to replace my old bulky box sets which take up too much space with their silly packaging. Picture quality is better on these new releases, which would be great, but rather shows up the joins with the CGI and live action, something which looked less obvious on the older discs. Enjoying Eccleston's run again :)

I also bought the original Clash Of The Titans, with all its awesome Harryhausen stop-motion creatures. A childhood favourite of mine. Always forget how stuffed to the rafters this is with top tier actors - most of whom don't have much to do.

Got a bunch of the Halloween (not to be confused with Halloween or Halloween) cash is reissues of John Carpenter films with new documentaries. Sadly They Live seems to be missing the commentary, despite having an option to turn it on.

I picked up the Metrodome money for old rope clamshell release of the original Transformers cartoon. It's daft and harmless; voice acting and scoundscape is stil lthe best thing about it :)

Finished my first watch of everything that exists for Callan. Edward Woordward ACTING for the win.

The film was an interesting experience as it's a remake of the pilot, but twice as long. So you get awkward padding like a moment in the original where Lonely goes to get Callan a gun and comes back with a gun becomes an entire Dave Prose filled gun wraggler subplot.

I've just got through Raw, a marvelous french film about a vegetarian girl who goes off to college to study veterinary medicine. Discovers she's a canibal. Wackiness ensues. With subtitles! Probably the best horror film I've seen for a good long while, being more a character study about living with an impulse that you can't control. Fantastic.
