Am I looking for the matrix here?

Post by HotShot81 »

I use the term The Matrix since it is a rare/powerful item in Transformers lore.

After being burned by Bayverse, I got Bumblebee on DVD. Excellent film, outstanding music.

Usually when I like a movie's music, I buy the Soundtrack.

It seems I can't find the CD, just this Amazon.ca list.

So what's the deal? I get permission from Amazon to listen to the music, download it, burn it, and there is the soundtrack?

Before anyone says it, yes I know CDs are out of date. My new car didn't even have a CD player built into it.:(

Yeah, downloadable MP3s. Shame -- I'd have bought a CD. And with the audience being so heavily into 30s/40s it would've made sense to release one.

It's likely to be a sticking point when I replace a car (would accept something that could read at least a 256GB flash drive with decent menus, though) ditto having a hand brake. Have driven a current model Vauxhall without the latter and it's unsafe relying on circuitry.

Oh, that's poop. On the plus side, space limitations on a CD means you're likely to get everything that was featured in a film. But, yeah, there's no joy in a download. Even when bands I like release eps in some digital only format I find I just don't listen them. I'm more likely to stick a record on or listen to a CD.

Crikey, cars without manual controls. What could possibly go wrong...

I'm actually amazed they haven't put the Bumblebee soundtrack out on vinyl. It's so ridiculously appropriate.

Just updating this thread a bit.

What I didn't like about Amazon was you couldn't just buy the music.

However with Google Play I could, and presto! Downloaded it, burned it, its mine!:D
