The combined form of the now-disbanded Protectobot unit, Defensor's sole purpose was to protect innocent life. He was strong and dedicated, but could never understand why the humans he rescued reacted to him with the same terror they directed at the Decepticons. Since the Protectobots have been assigned to different duties in different cities, Defensor is no longer in service.
