Just pre-ordered it from BBTS. I guess no new encore re-issues this year since Takara is focusing on their Transformers 2010 lineup. Still hoping for an encore Blaster since this years SDCC exclusive is coming out next month.

I read on another site that the Japanese retail price is $180...so hopefully the online stores like BBTS and TFsource will be selling him for less than $200. As much as I want this I refuse to pay $500 for it on eBay. Does anybody know if this is going to be a mass release or just an "exclusive...

Just wondering if anybody has any new info on the encore line. I guess now we know it is definitely not a seacons box set or blaster so I am confused. Could TakaraTomy have cancelled it without saying anything? I sure hope not since I think the G1 style boxes are way cooler than the earlier transfor...

It's very interesting that they think the production run is actually justified at this sort of quantity (though it probably helps that the moulds are clean and just sitting there). Wow, BBTS must be getting huge to get a hasbro exclusive. Maybe Hasbro got tired of seeing so many reissues going on clearance at TRU and than selling for double on ebay and online stores. I bet these will sell out pretty quick, I already pre-ordered mine (just in case).
