Galvatron was their third leader in less than a day and he made very clear why they should all follow him. Thus - a new era was started in Decepticon world...

The plot and animation was also a lot better before the movie. Although the movie was fantastic, all the shows after it just couldn't compare to it or the shows before.

I found this great article on the joy of collecting Transformers. Its great because it talks about all the other toy series that were available back in the 80's and how they didn't even compare to the coolness of the Transformers.

Makes me proud to be a collector.

Well, I'm guessing mine is a fake. The differences are very minimal. Mine isn't as shiney. Its also not as detailed in the rib area.

Oh, well. At least they got the shape right.

I've been buying a lot of those little PVC figures from Takara. I've built up quit the collection.

I've also been hearing a lot about how there are some fake ones on the market. Does anyone have any idea how you can tell if they are fake or not?
