Re: NEWEST ACQUISITIONS!

Today I welcomed back an old friend into my collection. Hope people don't mind a bit of story. As a kid I remember getting maybe one or two Transformers, despite me having tons. One of them was the Superion Gift Set. Maybe I saw the cartoon he appeared in, maybe I didn't. I remember loosing his head...

Re: Review Question

I think it could be useful for identification purposes, especially since TFU.info doesn't have anything for the last few years. This is the main reason all my reviews have a box shot, and at a decent resolution. As I earlier stated some of the bots in the Siege line are in a brown cardboard box, so...

Review Question

Anyone who has seen my profile knows I do a ton of box shots. Thing is as part of the Amazon/EBGames Exclusive of the War of Cybertron line the boxes are rather plain. I mean literally if it wasn't for the character's name being on the side of the box, you wouldn't know who is in there until you pai...

Re: NEWEST ACQUISITIONS!

The ancient Transformer Gods were smiling in Canada. Now we lack Target in Canada, but we do have Toys"R"US. I found the Target exclusive 10 pack of Micromasters from the Siege War For Cybertron Trilogy at a Toys"R"Us near where I work. Here is what is why I said the gods were smiling. Now remember ...

Re: Am I looking for the matrix here?

Just updating this thread a bit.

What I didn't like about Amazon was you couldn't just buy the music.

However with Google Play I could, and presto! Downloaded it, burned it, its mine!:D

Repair Question/idea

I am sure if you Google Megatron Beast Wars Transmetal you will see wait for it. Gold Rot Syndrome. As part of a lot purchase I did get a Megatron who died this way, but I have an idea. I would like to see if this falls under the viable/good idea, or "Nope, no go for reason X." What if I used a 3D p...

I'm actually amazed they haven't put the Bumblebee soundtrack out on vinyl. It's so ridiculously appropriate.
Actually funny thing I have a record player I can plug into a PC and rip from.

Re: Looking for something odd, but transformers related

Well two problems 1) I've seen their scale, and its a bit small (want something in the 12-18 inch range, or 30-45 CM range) 2) My evil twin got me banned from that site. I know people are going to want an explanation about that one. Someone with my name, "claimed" one of my e-mail address. Did a bun...

Am I looking for the matrix here?

I use the term The Matrix since it is a rare/powerful item in Transformers lore. After being burned by Bayverse, I got Bumblebee on DVD. Excellent film, outstanding music. Usually when I like a movie's music, I buy the Soundtrack. It seems I can't find the CD, just this Amazon.ca list. So what's the...

Re: Looking for something odd, but transformers related

Updating this. Now the website has told me they won't do a straight up Transformer due to that evil thing called Copyright law. Which holds more power than Unicron and Primus combined. However, while laws are set in stone, they do bend. The site informed me if I could find an artist to do one close ...

Re: Looking for something odd, but transformers related

Found a site that will do custom plushie toys, hoping they'll compromise for a one off.

Then the toy and I have a date with a soddering iron.

Yeah Clip Bot would present . . . safety problems.
Hallmark looks too small.

Trying to find one in the 12-18 inch range.

Looking for something odd, but transformers related

I am looking for a STUFFED Soundwave.

Take old G1 Soundwave, turn him into a stuffed animal like creation.

Anyone have any leads on such a thing, except for the site that is charging 27 pounds, and I don't even know if they ship to Canada.

Looking for some parts...

When it comes to G1 parts it seems we have a few reliable sellers. However, I need some parts to complete some bots of more . . . recent vintage. If anyone has a lead outside of ebay (or better yet willing to sell them to me) please post here/PM me. Armada: Hot Shot's missile Cybertron: Primus: 2 X ...

Re: One of my odder finds

You mean this ? I have that too! The Find Your Fate books are good fun, even though they're clearly written for a pretty young age group even compared to other 80s TF stuff. I especially like the purely toy-based art. I got the whole set for $1 each in the early 90s if memory serves. That is precis...

One of my odder finds

My job is on the road, and this weekend I took my new car for a solid road test.

At one of my haunts I found something high on the rare/weird file transformers wise.

Transformers: Attack of the Insecticons!

Ripping Transformer 2: Revenge of the Fallen

Hi,
Using WinX Pro Plat to rip this DVD, but due to its encryptions I have countless files to try to rip before I find the right one.

Anyone have any advice besides googling it?

More than once recently I've been in Toys R Us and I find aunts/grand parents who are lost in the world of Transformers.

Which one is a good deal.
Who is a good guy, who is a bad guy
Which ones combine

Those sorts of things.

Review Question

Greetings Earth Germs, Hasbro has recently rerelease me, the great Starscream pride of the Cybertron battle academy to do battle on toy shelves once again, as I did in the 1980s as measured by you. If I convinced the meat bag who owns this account to do a review of me would it be considered part of ...

Question for my fellow collectors

I've noticed recently people who seem lost in our world.

Do you offer to help them out?

For the most part I do, since it's the right thing to do I feel.
