I really liked Jessica Jones, it's probably my second favorite Marvel Netflix Season behind Daredevil Season 2.

David Tennant did a great job as the villain.

After the awesome trailer for the new "It" movie, I decided to start re-reading the novel for the first time in over ten years. I'm about 300 pages (of 1100) in and I am loving it. It feels like I'm being reunited with old friends that I haven't seen in a long time. Stephen King does an am...

I picked up TR Astrotrain with the sale price, so it only cost me $15. I'm not impressed with his alt modes, the train mode was pretty lazy in my opinion and the Space Ship mode is not the type I think of when I think of Astrotrain. At least his robot mode looks pretty good, I especially like his he...

I think some people's predictions of Megatron staying behind in the Functionist Universe might actually come true. If so, I really want to see a mini (or ongoing) of him leading the uprising against them.

I'm a couple episodes into Season 2. I love that they got Rhys Darby to play Coran.

Saw Power Rangers last night. It was harmless fun, marketed to a younger audience than myself. I think I enjoyed it enough to want to watch the eventual sequel, not enough to ever sit through the whole thing again though.

I picked up a Broadside last weekend but haven't had a chance to open him up yet. From the looks of him, I think he's going to be pretty solid, I just have to figure out which Jet mode I want to display him in since the official once doesn't seem that great. I also picked up Krok, Topspin and Percep...

I'm still annoyed that, despite only transforming him a couple of times, my MP Shockwave's hose is already falling apart. I'll have to keep an eye on that. Is there a reason it is, like is there a certain place that causes it to stretch or something? I'll probably take it off completely and then re...

I picked up MP-29 Laserwave last weekend. He's my first MP Decepticon and I think I'm in love. He is so articulated in robot mode, I can't stop coming up with cool action poses for him. I also love the way his legs transform, very clever.

Bought seasons 1-6 of Game of Thrones over/just after the holidays; getting around to watching them now. With commentary, as this is my third run-through of most of the series, yay. We have Seasons 1-3 on DVD, but stopped buying them after that because we never saw them at good prices. I loaned the...

Yeah, it's easily the best movie of 2017 so far. I wouldn't be surprised if it remains in my top 5 by the end of the year.

I like Sargent Kup from the Generations line a lot better than what I've seen of the Titans Return Kup. I think the TR Kup would make for a solid Crosshairs retool though.

I've been pretty happy with the line so far. I just picked up Hot Rod this week and I do have one complaint though. I'm not really a fan of the way most of the cars (Hot Rod, Breakaway, Chromedome) don't really try to incorporate their guns into their vehicle modes. I guess this complaint could also...

I thought Affleck's Batman was the only real good part about Batman V. Superman. There were a lot of problems with that movie, but Batfleck was not one of them. I think they could do some great stuff with solo movies and maybe bring in some Bat villains that have never been on the Big Screen. Saw Lo...

Triggerhappy's my favorite Titans Return deluxe so far, so it's great to see that his two Targetmaster buddies are being added to the line as well. Both their jet modes look great, I love how closely they resemble their G1 counterparts. Slugslinger's robot mode looks good, but I feel like Misfire ha...

I can't believe it's not butter. Watched the two Burton Batman flicks over the weekend. The Nolan stuff is cool and all, but these are still my favourite cinematic version of Bats (closely followed by Lego Batman). Burton just nails everything that's ace and weird about the Batman comics. I love ho...

I've always been a fan of the Rocky franchise, the first one stands out as it's more of a character piece about Rocky than it is about boxing. It also sets the tone well for making it seem ridiculous that Rocky would even stand a chance of lasting more than a couple rounds against Apollo. The most r...

I saw Get Out a couple nights ago, it was great, and I'm not even a horror movie fan. It had a perfect mix of suspense, drama and comedy. I'd highly recommend it.

I'm planning to get the Shout Factory versions of Headmasters, Masterforce and Victory some time in the next year. I saw a few episodes of Headmasters about 15 years ago, but never got back into it since then. I currently am slogging my way through Season 2 of the G1 cartoon, and plan on checking th...

I like the idea of Megatron staying behind in the Functionist Universe, but if he did, I would need to see an Ongoing about it, which I doubt will happen given how many ongoings are already running. Leaving him behind as a send off would just lead to too many questions about his eventual return and ...
