Complicated question. For playability with my childhood self, I'd have to go with MP Prime. Durable figure, lots of metal. And all my 1985 friends would be like "whoa!" Otherwise I might have to go with a more complicated movie figure. Don't get me wrong, I love G1 stuff for the nostalgia ...

I think that'd be a great idea. Target recently had Movie Voyager class figures for $15.99. I didn't find out about it until after the fact.

It wasn't when I looked. And now both protoforms are completely gone. There are other TF figures now though, but they're the action figure things.

I'd have to see what it looks like beforehand. I've put off buying the figure because frankly it's butt-ugly, with that monocle head thing going on. But this picture looks like it doesn't have that?
