Re: [The video game thread]

Being a fan of physical media, I've been focusing a lot more on limited run titles coming from Strictly Limited Games, Super Rare Games, Limited Run Games, among others, for the Nintendo Switch. They're all good at bring previously digital only or re-issuing prior titles.

Re: Covid 19 / everybody PANDEMIC

Honestly, we shouldn't be using infections as a primary indicator for the pandemic anymore as we move forward thanks to having large populations vaccinated but also those that received their immunity with natural infection from Omicron - at least when it comes to the United States. At this time, you...

Ready for the Super Bowl?

As a born and raised Philadelphian, I'm pulling for the Eagles to win it all next Sunday. I remember pulling for them here on this forum 13 years ago... This has to be the time, right? :o Of course, if the Eagles win the Super Bowl, the post-game rioting might be a lot worse than when the Phillies w...

Thanks Denyer, I did find one but it seems to be ran from a JP company that couldn't grasp the idea of Kickstarter. -_-

However, I found one known as Stonecold Skywarp, Inc, who was quite helpful in the matter. ;)

Looking for a UK Proxy Bid / Pay Service

Hello Folks,

Anyone know of a UK Proxy Bid / Pay Service? Basically looking for a way to get an item shipped from the UK to the US from a Kickstarter that won't ship the item to the US.

Thanks!

This will be the ultimate nightmare project to complete: http://www.neowin.net/news/uk-government-to-pay-55m-for-another-year-of-windows-xp-support Interventions should have started months if not longer ago. At work, we spent the last year phasing out XP boxes. After a year of new machines setups an...

Not being a fan of online RPGs, skipped FFXI and FFXIV. I figure those games can get addictive in a bad way. If I had to give some thoughts on Final Fantasy, my preference would be FF7, 6, 9, and X. The remastered version of X is also pretty amazing. Otherwise, check out Chrono Trigger, which is jus...

Picked up Final Fantasy X/X-2 Remastered. Great game that I never recall finishing back in the day. Make me want to go back and play FF6, 7, and Chrono Trigger again.

I'm still hoping NISMOJOE makes a reappearance. He comes and goes on AIM every once in awhile. I think he's off in the gaming world more these days, especially when he seems to be top gamer when you search his handle. I miss playing endless hours of Starcraft. :-X

Hi all. ^_^

You should sign up for Crunchyroll's service - http://www.crunchyroll.com . They have a free two subscription but it's well worth signing up for a year which is just 60$. You get unlimited streaming of older and just released anime. I think they offer a lot of stuff without being a member but they a...

I remember when I was about 13, there was a time when a lot of kids in my neighborhood were friends. Some of them went off to do a lot of bad things - picking fights, getting into some drugs, stealing, etc. It was like a slippery slope over a period of time. Eventually, opting to stay away from thes...

The Masterforce dvd set has been out in Australia for years, why is it taking so long for it to come out in the US? If Shout! Thanks. I'm not too worried about the property search. I'm actually looking through foreclosed property. Seen a good number of quality houses going from 23k to 100 k in my area. I'm almost tempted to buy two -- one for me and one to rent. Figure that even with all the new, tighter regulations, my cr...
