Well, finished the series. While I'm glad that I powered through it, I'll probably never be compelled to ever watch it again. It has some interesting ideas, but the execution is wanting. There's a whitewashed blandness to it, which fits with the theme of technological homogeneousness, but it doesn't...

No, you're wrong! You're wrong on the internet! You're stupid, stupid-head! *insert cockwaving phrase here that asserts my "dominance" over you and invites a string of injokes to be made circa early 2000's* I think it's going to be a case. That the game comes in. I hope it's made of Bisco...

That's cause the maturity to be a good parent usually isn't there in your 20s. Most are still a pretty self-absored lot at that time!

I honestly can't imagine having three or more. I feel like when the kids start to outnumber the parents, you're done for!

But we DIDN'T get more 'mature', we got 'emo'. And, as I wrote about at length, we got two years of stores where none of the cast mattered to the main plot . This is to say nothing that the 'moral' of the show was basically that it was wrong to be a robot or to even like them in the first place... ...

The first time I realized Affleck was a terrible actor was in Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back . You had a really good actor like Jason Lee able to portray his characters in Mallrats and Chasing Amy in a short time span and make both of them seem like distinct characters. When the titular duo show u...

Finished Beast Wars, and enjoyed it for the most part. I'm going through Beast Machines, just finished "The Key," and honestly I just don't know if I'm going to make it through. There's too much I dislike, but mostly in that I don't recognize these characters, either physically or in their...

When Hurricane Sandy flooded my house, the Kid Rhino releases of the G1 seasons and TF:TM were lost in the wash. I don't know if that was Sandy being a jerk, having good taste, or both. Unfortunately, although I'd like to own the complete G1 series again, I can't justify the cost seeing as G1 is str...

Season 3 is the best one. Though I guess you could argue that while the good episodes are better, the bad ones are so much worse than the previous two seasons. I mean, for every "Web World", you get one "Surprise Party". There are things I like about that season. Even though Rod...

I actually find the campiness of seasons 1 and 2 endearing on some level. It's when I watch the 3rd season that I find the show genuinely excrutiating.

I'm doing BW for the first time. Finally swallowed geewun pride and admit that I'm liking it, although it's terribly flawed and dated. Just had to get through those first episodes. Just finished Dinobot's death episode. I think the Agenda is next.

Like the Onion said, after this movie and the LOTR series, that actress who portrayed the White Witch is becoming the go-to gal for creepy (and/or mystical) female roles.
