Originally posted by Denyer Prime still looks like a tangle of metal, and the light's off towards the end. Other than that, the robots have improved a lot since what we saw earlier. Doesn't it make much more sense to open on the 3rd? It'd be odd though to open a film on a Tuesday, plus July 4 is a ...

It's legitimate, given Bay posted of his well-recieved preview screenings. But the film is incomplete, given the lack of an Artic prologue, plus F/X will be polished throughout May.

Part of the problem may well be how slow things are to travel across space. So Megatron gets word of Shockwave gone MIA on Earth, and calls Bludgeon over, which may take a few decades, and then Bludgeon goes over, which may take a few hundred years, with Soundwave on his tail... You get the picture.

Maybe it's sheer logic to have your hand as a gun at the ready: an efficient form, without having to whip out a weapon.

Well the saga of say, G1 cartoon or Marvel comics no longer exists right? What I mean to say is that the story has finished, and therefore no longer exists as a form of telling the story. It still exists as published video or book, but unlike IDW or the Movieverse, it is not existing as a format for...

For me, to be a reboot another work of fiction has to stop existing.

It's not a reboot, it's an alternate version. Like Marvel vs the cartoon.

Originally posted by numbat I really am loving the revamp / reinterp. I'm not, personally, fussed how many original character names are used, and am rather thrilled about the possibility of some new and maybe ultimately iconic guys entering the fray. Well, I am just going to say it for the last tim...

Prime's mouth does look slightly odd in how flesh-like it is. I always liked the look of the film, in that they were using many pieces to create a flesh-like illusion rather than simulate it with plastic as the cartoons and comics have also done. Whilst I don't mind Prime having a mouth, it does loo...

Apart from Beast Wars, the film is the closest incarnation to G1. Everybody, including Don Murphy, wanted Soundwave in the film and the sheer irony is that whilst they flipped around with some freaky CD-player type eventually named Frenzy, the closest character to Soundwave as we know and love him i...

A bad mix of colours on the back photo. I just pray for the Leader-class to appear soon. Plus, he's bigger than the Voyager Prime.

He is Soundwave I;m telling you. Bay wasted this design and personality on a former Micromaster.

This is a little bizzare. We've jumped from 2003 to the beginning of the 20th century, down to 1936/56 (print is too small).
