Re: NEWEST ACQUISITIONS!

*jealous* I miss having toy clearance outlets. The last one around these parts closed a couple years back. :( I definitely didn't have Trypticon in my plans, but when my buddy texts me with a price that's a little less than 1/3 retail, who am I to say no? LOL. I don't have an Ollie's near me, but i...

Re: NEWEST ACQUISITIONS!

Got a few things from either vacation, or shortly after: TR Trypticon : My buddy grabbed this for me last year at Ollie's on heavy discount. I was finally able to pick him up since we drove to visit family. He's a monster! This is my first Titan Class figure, the closest I would have had was Univers...

Re: NEWEST ACQUISITIONS!

Grabbed a single Siege Refraktor the other day. He's... OK. I wanted one to try out to see if I wanted to put 3 together for the camera, and I don't think I'll be doing that. He's very average with a poor alt mode; obviously HasTak focused on the camera mode and not the single alt mode. It's maybe p...

Re: NEWEST ACQUISITIONS!

WFC Siege Brunt . I've got a TR Trypticon to pick up during our annual vacation this summer from my buddy, and I've got a Toyhax sticker set ready for Full-Tilt. It will be cool to have them all together. As it is, Brunt is really fun on his own! Chunky, purple, and very drone-y. I love that his li...

Re: [The video game thread]

Cadence of Hyrule on Switch. Lovely game, excellent music. Now I just need to figure out how to play it without dying all the time. I'm simply bad at it.

Re: [The video game thread]

There have been a load of digital sales taking place since E3 just happened. I decided to take advantage and picked up: Madden 19 , NHL 19 , NBA Live 19 , FIFA 19 , NBA 2K19 , and Horizon: Zero Dawn Complete Edition . All told, the sale prices were ridiculously low, so I basically got all 6 games fo...

Re: NEWEST ACQUISITIONS!

WFC Siege Springer! Saw some reports on other sites that these were hitting stores on the East Coast, which typically means I won't see anything for ~3 weeks. Then someone reported a finding about 2-3 hours south of me, so I figured I would just stop by a local Walmart on my way home from work. At ...

Re: NEWEST ACQUISITIONS!

My kids got me Siege Sixgun for Father's Day. I had been kicking around the idea of picking him up for a long time, so it's nice to finally have him in hand. I wasn't sure if I'd like the whole 'Weaponizer' thing, but I have to admit it's really fun. Just like Shockwave, all the bits and pieces hook...

Re: [The video game thread]

Been on a game craze lately, preparing for the summer and travel. After grabbing that Hori D-Pad Joy Con, I noticed hand cramps while playing these intense retro games. So I did some research and bought a Satisfye Grip . Basically a cradle for a whole Switch with asymmetric ergonomic hand grips that...

Re: [The video game thread]

A few things for Switch, one mobile-ish and the rest is all retro... Timberman VS a few weeks ago. It was super cheap ($0.20) and only takes the R & L triggers to play. Chop down the tree, dodge the branches as they come down. It's got 8/16 bit graphics & music with a load of characters to unlock; q...

Re: [The video game thread]

Didn't take long, but I finished the main story line in Sonic Forces. Pretty fun overall, but a mostly forgettable experience (especially when compared to the retro-tastic Sonic Mania). I liked how they mixed in elements from the Sonic Dash mobile series, like the rail grinding switching mechanism. ...

Re: NEWEST ACQUISITIONS!

Siege Rescue Patrol. Both are nice, but nothing special. Never owned the originals, and these are just retools of Siege figures I already own. I really like Stakeout. Red Heat is a bit back heavy and the one I got has ridiculously loose hips, which I'll need to fix.

Re: NEWEST ACQUISITIONS!

Shockwave is a touch on the small side of the Voyagers, and for Siege deluxes, Ironhide is on the tall side. I would say Shockwave is taller than Ironhide by a head or so. But Ironhide, is about a head taller than Prowl, Sideswipe, and Hound. Not a figure acquisition per se, but I did receive severa...

Re: NEWEST ACQUISITIONS!

Studio Series 38 Optimus Prime . After re-watching Bumblebee, I've really come to like the visual direction of the bots in the new-ish movie-verse. Plus, SS38 is just a beautiful figure on it's own. I like the nice blend of realistic parts while keeping the same classic look. I didn't have anything...

Re: [The video game thread]

A few years ago, I took a crate, small TV, and Atari 2600 and made one of those tables with a video game built in, like you'd see at pizza parlors in the '80s. Unfortunately, I didn't secure the joystick well, and it fell off when I moved the table to redo my floor. I could reattach it, but I doubt...

Re: [The video game thread]

Finally finished Doom! I took my time and did some exploration, but there still were collectibles and secrets I didn't get, so I'll go back at some point and do those. Hidden in the levels are Classic Maps too, from old PC Doom games. I haven't found them nor played them all yet, so that will be a b...

No need to increase. There's options there, I just didn't start an account anywhere to do so yet.

Thanks for the help!

Re: Photo Uploads

Ahah! That seems like that's it. I'll try to use that function on reviews. I'll let you know if I have problems.

Thanks!

EDIT: Yep, that worked. Is there still a cap on attachments like previous (512 kb/image)?

Photo Uploads

What's the best way to upload and/or imbed images for the reviews these days, now that the hosting software has changed?

I can't seem to figure it out via the old methods. :(
