Re: Vintage G1 (Walmart reuses). Your thoughts?

For me and many folk outside the US they’re a real lifesaver. A really good G1 Astrotrain for example would set you back maybe $80 or so.

Re: Some thoughts on the Marvel TF comics

Myself apart from collecting a building a G1 Marvel library (I must get that UK collection of its good, that part work launched a while back) I tend to leave the stuff alone. IDW really went overboard with the stuff. I read Infiltration and a few others back in the day from my local library (around ...

Re: Vintage G1 (Walmart reuses). Your thoughts?

I’m all for them. I don’t collect too much these days beyond Doctor Who, some MOTU, the odd Star Wars or Neca Predator Figure. I get a few Transformers – mostly G1 inspired stuff and I love the new Jetfire. Myself I think these are a great idea like the Retro Star Wars range—as long as the pricing d...

Who is the BEST Non-TF Mechanical or organic charcater?

So folks who would you consider the Best guest or recurring character in the TransFormers universe. It can be absolutely anyone, from classic marvel created characters like Deaths Head, human character such as G.B. BlackrockJosie Beller AKA Circuit Breaker and Marvel Uk characters such as Professor ...

I agree with the remark regarding the Constructicons and Dinobots. To clarify on the Ironhide issue, I preferred his cartoon red and mid/dark grey tones, rather than the all red of the comics (esp the UK ones where he was an important regular). The comic scheme especially with the red face seemed to...

Thanks guys, I know some people consider this a minor issue, but I appreciate all the advice. I do like Galvatron's color scheme being a kind of Shockwave styled purple. I must admit I don't like the reissued toys kind of more pink/lilac/lavender color. I didn't care much for the cartoon with its ra...

AAAARRRGGGHHH!!!!! I am an idiot, I never stopped to consider Rumble and Frenzy. PS I was always wondering about them and always assumed that Rumble was just given Frenzys color scheme. UNTIL that scene in the movie when they both have pile-driver arms - like why would Frenzy need those. Hoo boyy, m...

The TF universe version of Crisis on Infinate Earth

This probably seems like a really obvious idea, or at the very least a very old idea. But has anyone ever actually done a multi-universe story for Transformers like the legendary DC Crisis on Infinite Earth stories. I grew up on the great Simon Furmans work in the UK Transformers comic from Marvel U...

Movie/Cartoon Color Scheme or Toy Colors.

Hi Guys this is my first post after joining, I've finally decided to take the plunge and joined the great online fanbase of the BEST licenced property ever (Star Wars comes a close second and TF ties for me with DOCTOR WHo and ahead of Trek as being the best thing since life began on this planet. I ...
