I have to admit that his truck mode is better and his articulation seems more advanced but they are not big enough improvements to warrant the cost. Plus he looks to be in 2 inches smaller than MP-01 and I just know that he has far less diecast metal. It's a easy pass.

The RTS Wreck-Gar is a nice figure but all that he comes with is a axe and lacks the shield and rifle. Perceptor has a shoulder gun but again not the rifle. Finding suitable replacements for these weapons are a headache.

Found Gens Thunderwing and I agree that his torso and head are far too visible under his alternate mode. Maybe I can design a hatch that will fit over that section or something.

I've found RTL Jazz, Gens Dirge and Blurr! I agree that the reveal the shield gimmick is dumb. The earlier classics figures mostly had rub signns until they were phased out and now it's a subline? Tfs have had rubsigns on and off for 25 years too. Even the packaging is the same except for the colori...

I've found Red Alert tonight at my local WM. The figure is fine, I already have Sunstreaker and Sideswipe so I'm already used to the mold. My only real gripe is that lack of a shoulder missle launcher but that's a old complaint. Now I'm looking for Dirge and Blurr.

I like A. To be honest with you I rather like the head that's already on the this version. That is as far as I can tell from the pics.

I'm not liking the character designs that much. I think the old Beast Wars toon had more detail and that was over a decade ago..

The amount of human characters worries me a lot. I really hope this show can appeal to a mass audience.

I don't really have a problem with Scourge. My only gripe is his half assed gun but if push comes to shove I can replace it. This will be the only Scourge in my collection and I can't really afford to buy a nice complete G1 version right now..

I can't preorder either. I like the design of the MP but the $200 price is too much for one figure imo. The FP shoukd be somewhere around 20 maybe 40 dollars for the size and scale so that's out too. I might buy MP at some point if Hasbro releases him as Rodimus Major ect but until that happens it's...

I have to add a dishonorable note and that's G1 Springer. I remember a friend having him as a child and being disappointed in his size and looks. he was almost half of Hot Rod's size.

I wish Hasbro would produce a generations version that looked like this figures. It does seem like a nice figure but the cost is prohibitive.

If I buy Drift it will be because of the figure itself. I can deal with his character in my own little TF verse.
