Re: So...are the Hasbro crossovers relevant?

I'd have had some interest in Visionaries and MASK, had they not been reinventions (just more mature takes on the material) and not fed into a crossover.

Re: So...are the Hasbro crossovers relevant?

I didn't and didn't read RID/OP/Unicron either apart from happening to catch glimpses occasionally. MTMTE/LL plus the Wreckers books wraps things up well enough, and although it's a bit of a squib in some respects it does gives the continuity a fair send off. Am rather enjoying the new book, contrar...

Re: GOT anyone? [SPOILERS]

Have always been pickier about fantasy than sci-fi (particularly magic systems and cosmology -- Forgotten Realms is where my sense of internal logic settled, broadly Vancian AD&D). Still haven't seen all of the LotR films after having watched the Hobbit ones and GoT doesn't really appeal from what I...

Re: Shikkaku Mon no Saikyou Kenja Manga

I'm assuming you're a real person as this is in a relevant forum, and although this is basically link spam the fan translations of other series are apparently non-infringing enough that a site with 20,000+ series listed is still up.

But if someone else sees fit to delete this, go ahead.

This evening I've got a security audit to finish more of, but If I get chance will sort them out this week.

W00t! Just as interested even if it doesn't turn out to be a set, TBH -- the line's been getting into the era of stuff I have most fondness for for a while.

Re: Photo Uploads

It's set to 256KiB/file, 5 files per post at the moment. Can increase it if you want -- if people want to post images straight from a camera it's probably better to use something like Imgur though.

Re: Looking for something odd, but transformers related

Someone already doing TF stuff is unlikely to have qualms about other TF designs though. Email addresses are easy enough to come by; register the account itself with a different name, and Etsy are unlikely to care about the payment name details.

Re: Am I looking for the matrix here?

Yeah, downloadable MP3s. Shame -- I'd have bought a CD. And with the audience being so heavily into 30s/40s it would've made sense to release one. It's likely to be a sticking point when I replace a car (would accept something that could read at least a 256GB flash drive with decent menus, though) d...

Re: Transformers: The Covenant of Primus Book

As in lots of them? The scans I've seen go up to page 175. It's possible if the book was solicited with a higher page count there are are blanks bound with it to avoid changing listings (seem to recall it's an issue with sellers) but the Amazon UK listing is 176 pages. Could be a proof, I suppose. I...

Re: Looking for something odd, but transformers related

If it's for a kid, the self-made stuff on Etsy isn't really an option -- they're mostly for display. Safest option would be a cushion with a design transferred onto it. If it's as a sex doll you could probably make a mould using the TR figure, then pour silicone into that. (Hello to people on Reddit...

Re: Transformers (2019-?) #1 [SPOILERS]

The Whitman art isn't always functional, but the Hernandez art is ****ing lush with the strong and slightly abstract lines -- maybe it's because I'm ordering the print copies and then looking at digital on a big screen whilst I wait, but loving it. In places it's not far off the approach I associate...

Massive bundle of IDW TF comics on Humble Bundle

These sort of things come up every so often, so it probably won't be the only opportunity whilst IDW retain the licence -- but fantastic value if you want to check anything out: https://www.humblebundle.com/books/transformers-2019-idw-books?view=BVcRHtpa44YV&fbclid=IwAR3iS05iY9_2SkeOYfbpjE-ATXQwWtho...

Re: Link Error

Apologies -- been caught up in investigations and end of financial year stuff on top of moving, and it's something where I need to work out which set of files are the most up-to-date before creating pages that (hopefully) catch and redirect incoming links. Haven't forgotten.

Re: NEWEST ACQUISITIONS!

Touch wood angle seems alright apart from possible exposure early evening in summer opposite the window, and the last shot's all white balance rather than light. Vector Prime's extensively sun-marked, but was like that when I got the replacement and it kind of suits the character. What surprises me ...
