Double Glazing =
Outside studentville:

We had a great house, with great friends, but I do feel we missed out slightly by not being in the heart of the student area.

Lots of media-ish ex students on here. I did Computer Science - came out of uni with a turd, and after a bit of worrying over what I was going to do with my life, spent half a year trying and failing a PGCE, then working in admin jobs. Then 2.5 years after graduating, I got an IT programming job wit...

No, but I went to uni in Cardiff and lived in Swansea - only 40 miles away.

Even if I had gone further I wouldn't have worried. Uni == Awesome.

Liara DLC for ME2 and Morrigan DLC for Dragon Age next week. Sadly I'm away, but no prizes for guessing what I'll be obtaining when I get back!

Also, I'm getting increasingly excited about Arkham City. It's sounding better and better every time I hear news.

Prowl's in the UK. I'm planning on getting that when it goes down in price too.

I meant on laptops, since that's what's under discussion here.

And my advice was given with the disclaimer that my experience was somewhat limited.

There's no such thing as a good laptop keyboard. My laptop use has been through work, and they've all been quite small. Generally it's width that matters if you want a good keyboard because I've found that there's not actually that much difference in the action of different keyboards. So usually you...

So basically I'm through with desktops, sick to death of them If the main reason for this is the bad experience with MESH, I'd consider reconsidering. A bad laptop will be just as bad as a bad desktop - you're likely to notice it more with a laptop though as specs tend to be lower. However, if this...

Not too fond of closing a post but leaving it available for staff to post in. It sends out the wrong message to the rest of the community - one rule for us and one for them. At the end of the day, the staff shouldn't need to get in a final shot anyway. Glad this has been merged/reopened, although I ...

Kayaks. By far. As Sades quite rightly points out, they're sleeker, more agile, more fun in every way. And O'Brien was always doing his shoulder in because he was a middle aged unfit hack*. He did his shoulder in playing darts for God's sake. -Ss *Exageration used to improve my arguement. O'Brien is...

They're looking good mind. Very good in fact. I'm thoroughly enjoying the number of 'smaller' teams getting through. Quality.

Also bought myself this the other week. Which is nice.

I think it's kind of overanylysing to be talking about 'left' and 'right' voters. This election has basically boiled down to 'those who want Labour out' and 'those who don't want Tories in'. I don't think most of the British electorate give much of a damn about the wings. I don't know which is which...
