Why would Sam's toaster have a Decepticon insignia and European style plug? And why isn't his name Browning? Despite being awesome DO NOT WANT!

In truth, I'll own one as soon as I find one.

One of the most vivid things I remember is Lennox hearing of Prime's "death" via radio.

I think you had their aims in the wrong order: 1) Sell toys 2) Make money in it's own right 3) Set up a sequel Depends on who you mean by "their." I doubt Paramount cares too dearly about whether or not a single toy is sold, aside from their relationship with Hasbro. In fact, I'd say your...

The group shot reminds me of the Classics toys, particularly Prowl. And look...they snuck some Wolverine blades onto Rodimus. ;)

"As Iron Man proved, they don't need to be iconic to become blockbusters."

:eyebrow: Iron Man not an icon?

Blade would've probably been a better example. Or does that movie not count as "blockbuster"?

I saw one yesterday. Just one. (Don't they ship two per case?) Yeah, a bit bigger than I was expecting and a bit nicer looking in person. And I did play with the "try me" feature. That is what got a "meh" for me, since just about any review for Devastator mentions how "aweso...

It's 34.90 in Euro, roughly 46 bucks American according to http://www.unitconversion.org/currency/euros-to-us-dollars-conversion.html (Not sure how accurate that converter is, but that seems about right.) It's roughly the price of a leader class Transformer in US terms, ignoring the shipping. Person...

And his technical contributions overshadow his own musicianship, which is notable in its own right.

It seems like you're on your way to getting a copy, which is cool. :) In the meantime, I have a suggestion that may help. Whenever I need a reminder on how to transform a Transformer (not unusual, some of them can be a bit meticulous these days) I usually try and find a video review on youtube. This...

Classics Rodimus:up: He's really quite nice. QFT! Today I've been fiddling around with the Legends ROTF Sideswipe. I picked him up this morning and opened him right there in the car. Really neat little guy. I like Legends, but they're admittedly hit or miss. Sideswipe is one of the good ones. I do ...

But that makes sense. Once the "buy it now" price has been outbid it's obsolete anyway. Also, and correct me if I'm wrong somehow, doesn't purchasing with the "buy it now" option equal an immediate buy? So why bid one up, with the exception of having to wait until later to buy it?

Yeah...I'm also looking for an alternative to eBay, so thanks for any heads up, previous and future. :) For what it's worth, most things I look for G1-wise generally show up with "buy it now" listings. So I wasn't aware that others may not be finding them as easily. Though my opinion still...

Probably the best toy to use for the character, but it's still hardly the most convincing disguise, is it? I'm guessing he still has another face on the back of his own. The round "ear covers" at the sides of the helmet give the impression that it may flip back to cover the rear face. At ...

Well, I was recently watching an auction on a complete G1 Thrust with box for a buy it now for $45. I could have snagged it up using the Buy it Now, but I got busy and had to get off of the computer. I didn't check it until the next day when the price shot up to $76. Some knucklehead bid over the b...

He was, briefly, in TF: The Movie. You could also say he had a leadership role before and afterwards of carrying the Matrix, just not in a Supreme Commander type way.

Hi, Springer145. Good stuff! I'm also in the "not the style I'm into, but I listened to it all the way through" camp. Which really is a decent compliment. BTW, when I first moved out here one of the positive things to look forward to is that I'd heard Tennessee has a pretty strong music sc...
