I just got up to date with season 2 (after ignoring it for ages, out of disappointment of the season premiere) and considering it only has a select few episodes left (2... maybe 3?) See I'm kinda with Ack, I wouldnt turn her down, but thats not based on me being attracted to her, its based on me being incredibly incredibly desperate... She is bland, the blandest thing ever... In order to gain attraction for me (when basing purely on looks, and not personality) she has to be qui...

Friends? The scene with Joey and Gary Oldman where he says spitting helps with delivery of lines?

So I'm rewatching it on DVD (well Bluray) for the first time since the cinema and... I could have sworn the forest fight was longer.... Its a shame that so much technical expertise and money goes in to these fight scenes, as it means they dont last very long.

Yeah I mean... I guess simplicity is to blame for calling 1923 nineteen-twenty-three rather than one thousand nine hundred and twenty three... two thousand and ten is still pretty simple to say.... Twenty-Ten sounds too american for me to say, even when everyone I know was calling the film Twenty-Tw...

So as a non... whoer (what are who fans called?), I must point out, I watched only maybe the first half of the first part, and then I watched the majority of the second... But are The Masters ability to... Well, basically leap massive distances/fly, and fire energy blasts down to his physical degrad...

As others have said, the sequences following the resolution of the main plot were very good, even for a non fan such as me... I knew very little about the Wilf character, but felt the pain and such in both the Doctor and himself as they spoke about the radiation... And the wrap-up-montage as I've de...

It was said in a way; and felt so out of place, that made it very much feel as if there was a purpose for them not simply saying nightmares. Is it likely to improve when... Moffat (that his name?) takes over? I've always liked the idea of Doctor Who, but I just havent been able to get past the awful...

The Forced Capitals in Bad Dreams as if nobody knows the word nightmare I've never really watched Doctor Who before, but am watching it now on BBC, is there some relevance to "bad dreams", the phrase specifically, because that opening line (was that Timothy Dalton who narrated the opening...

My resolution is to not give up on the diet I am currently on, having lost 7 stone in 15 months I'm incredibly happy with how I've done, but I still have a long way to go, but my will power has been worn down to nothing over the last 2 months due to various stuff... Which leads me on to the slightly...

Just arrived back from the cinema, and bloody loved this... If only for the relationship between RDjr and Law, and also their respective acting, it was absolutely fantastic, and the majority of the comedic lines were delivered with such natural flair that they didnt seem forced... The one thing I ca...

Oh god, another contender for film would be Let The Right One In, with more special mentions going to - Up, Slumdog Millionnaire and Basterds.

Up provided me te biggest tearjerker of 2009, with the opening sequence having me bawl my eyes out.

I'm thinking - Film, TV, Music, Comic, Book... any kind of category you want to talk about really... I'd prefer to hear about stuff released in 2009, ...

could this be considered?

Also, anyone else hear of the morbid news about the poster for her new film? Which depicted her laying dead in a bath. Be pulled on the grounds of taste... Not too surprised.

Sadly it does happen, much to the annoyance of the British press who love a bit of muck around a celebrity death. I'm waiting for Jane Moir to now use this as con clusive proof of the evil of heterosexual marriage. This is something I've tried to make a friend of mine understand, as soon as he hear...

Eh I hate having to put up a fake sense of sympathy when I am around friends (female in particular) yes, its sad that someone so young has died, and I feel sorry for her family, especially round this christmas period. Calling All Nerds - Assistance With Science Fiction Essay

The Descent 2 trailer was attached to the film though, so Halfshell is correct in his assumption Saw it the other day, thought it was really entertaining, didnt personally find it particularly scary, as in jump scary, but there were one or two bits that made me feel really uncomfortable. one of the ...
