But that was just an extension of the ball types in red and blue by extending it into type, weight and the like, whereas in red and blue they only related to level.

A new story is nice, but is almost gaurenteed for each new game in a series. No new game would try to rehash a previous version's, unless they are a direct remake (ala RE-make for the GC). While those new features sound interesting, they seem as if they are gimmicks just to placitate fans into sayin...

While a great game on its own, saffire and ruby seem almost re-hashes of the previous versions, gold and silver, which many considered bare-bones rehashes of the original red and blue versions. I agree with Viewfind. Alot of you guys try to use the same stuff. Not everyone can use linken park to present that dark unflintching persona alot of guys like to portray.
