I bought my Mirage on eBay. Too bad I can't find any around here.

The piece that forms his 'stomach' area? The floorboards that fold in? The left was a bit stiff to fold in, but I got it. The right? Snapped right off. The post is still in the hole, so it stays on fine, but it's clearly broken.

New Thread button

Can we get rid of the 'new thread' button on a post page? In the middle of the forum I get...but I can't count how many replies have been new posts because someone smacked the wrong button.

How common is this figure? I thought it wasn't particularly common, but there seems to be a lot on eBay.

Heck no. No animals.

Well...the Dinobots from G1 were cool. They had a decent transformation all around. *Not* crazy about robot modes like Megatron's in Beast Wars.

Aparently, Mirage is now out. eBay is swarmed with the figure, going for ~US$35 average.

Still waiting to see it in a B & M store, along with Optimus Prime.

Of course, it would be *great* if Wal-Mart (at least around here) would stock ANY Alternators. At all. Period. After they got rid of the red boxed ones, they haven't gotten any more.

Bah...no Wal-Mart within 50 miles (at least) has ANY Alternators, so I'll have to wait for Target. They have a TON of Sunstreakers, Skids and the other two repaints, so I forsee a long wait to even *see* these.

It's weird...when I saw the proto of Mirage I was extremely impressed with the figure. But the more photos I see of the finished figure I see, the less impressed I am. Somehow he looks *too* different.

Perhaps I'll just buy him and spraypaint him primer grey, maybe that'll make me feel better. :D

Yikes! And I've been scouring the store looking for him, too.

Perhaps I'll wait for Nemesis Prime, maybe they'll get it right by then.

Can't wait for Mirage!

The only thing I don't like are those darn things on his shoulders. Should have designed him to have them fold away or something. They look like crap.

I am *really* looking forward to Mirage. Think he looks especially sharp.

Knowing what we do about how VW feels on the subject, I'm not holding my breath.

That said, I'd pay good money for a Bumblebee Alternator. I'd kitbash one, but I have no sk1llz.
