Colonial Marines has been destroyed in most reviews and after seing actual gameplay that's turned up on YouTube I'm not surprised. Here's a commentary on the extended trailer that might interest you: http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/jimquisition/6832-A-LIE-ns-Colonial-Marines Sleeping Dog...

I liked it a lot too, it may have just been the overhyping that held it back. It wasn't nearly as clever as it seemed to set out to be. Wonderful stylish action suspense though.

I'm looking forward to seeing Dredd when I get the chance. Watching RED the other week has convinced me I'll enjoy Urban as Dredd. I feel like calling Sucker Punch "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest for the videogame generation" does it something of a disservice, though I absolutely see wher...

Finally found an answer to this. Sucker Punch. Another one which is totally misrepresented in the DVD cover and promotional materials.

Interesting. One of my friends did say Dead Space was very scary. I'll give it a look when I have a chance then.

Downloaded Sleeping Dogs (PS plus again) today. Not played it yet but I've heard good things.

Soooo bored of straight FPS at the moment, I totally gave up on Bioshock 2 for now (I think playing it so close to Borderlands was the mistake) but I've never played any Dead Space Games. I've heard good thing though. What is it that sets them apart? Oh and as for Skylanders, my nephew's just gotten...

But Skylanders at least has a physical component. Yeah, it's still a big marketting scam, but a lot of DLC in recent years is stuff that was slated to be included in the fulll game which was withheld, or even stuff which is on the full game at time of purchase, but requires extra money to access. Sk...

Downloaded Mortal Kombat (free for PS+ members at the mo). If I'd paid full price for this and was still expected to shell out the same again for access to the full roster I'd be so unhappy. Still, it's fine for a little piss about, so I guess if you have PS+ or if you see the complete (sorry, kompl...

Cyclops' "concussive force" comes out in red beams, so laser actually makes more sense logically. They only say concussive force to make it sound non-lethal and kid friendly. But then, as you point out, punching a kid in the face uses concussive force and isn't exactly kid friendly. So in ...

I think the fact it was massively popular and people who wouldn't previously have been caught dead watching Star Trek went as far as going to the movies to see it proves that we weren't the only ones who liked it. I don't even feel the need to criticise it in any way, it brought life to a defunct se...

To me, Leai's comment to Luke when he rescues her in the first one ("Aren't you kind of short to be a storm trooper?") made it clear that they were clones of some kind. I just noticed this. And, err, you're kidding right? Because it's not like any military or peacekeeping force has ever h...

Oh, I saw a picture of that, looks nice. Actually, there is one select I want, that's X-Force Deadpool. Sadly, I don't have any deadpool figures yet. The reason they're hard to find in Japan is simple, American comics and figures are quite niche here, they have enough of their own characters and ass...

I love the Universe and 3.75inch figs. They're actually a bit hard to get hold of in Japan but last time I went back to England I picked up a load. At the moment I really want the Nova figure and the FF Spider-Man. Got most of the Dark Avengers but I still need Dak Ms. Marvel. I really like the henc...

Well, as someone who wants to use it purely for amateur toying around, this would be great. I couldn't ever justify the cost before unless I was earning from it. To be onest, if they'd even offered the 7 year old stuff for about 20 quid I'd have been happy to pay. Obviously with the prices they char...

The multplayer is pretty good... if you can find a match that is. If you kinda like it but the story isnt deep enough then bioshock 1 is worth looking at if you never played it. I hate online multiplayer with a passion. It's actually the main reason that I have so few platinum trophies, because eve...
