I think "Wildrider" is online sales only, like "Slingshot", so there's bound to be a bit of a premium. May be worth looking at Amazon US. Amazon is about the worst place anymore to look for Transformers. Seems like it's only scalpers selling in the marketplace. Toys R Us online ...

4 hours of download from Steam later, I got into Borderlands. Fun, but I'm clearly no good at it. I've died multiple times just in skag packs, much less against bosses. Yes, I'm a prude, but I do wish more games would allow you to turn off the uber violence and language. There's just no reason for t...

So since I didn't have quite enough backlogged games that I had forgotten about, I added a couple more this morning. Humble Bundle has Borderlands and Borderlands 2 with a bunch of DLC that I picked up for $6 total. Didn't feel the need to jump up to $15 for some of the other DLC and a 25% off 2K me...

Clay might disagree that it's been 30 years. (Can't find the pictures to prove it.)

I just finished the main story line of Torchlight II. The final battles were really disappointing. No story development, no epic confrontation with the Alchemist or Nether Lord, just walk into an arena and start wailing. And when you finish, a cheesy little "Good job saving the world there, Spo...

I'm honestly surprised that they didn't retool Alpha Bravo into the space shuttle.

The white Optimus is pretty bland looking, but Sky Lynx is awfully cool. And here I thought I was drifting out of collecting. I try to get out, but they keep pulling me back in!

My wife and kids got me the Transformers: Animated Complete Allspark Almanac for my birthday. It's a really great book so far. Neat to see all the characters (even the really, really minor and planned-but-never-appeared ones), as well as some of the concept art and behind-the-scenes stories. It make...

And who is the American guy with the totally deadpan voice who tells jokes like "I put Spot remover on my dog.... I haven't seen him since". Steven Wright. You know that feeling you get when you're leaning back in a chair and it starts to tip over but you catch yourself at the very last s...

My brother- and sister-in-law gave me Off Road as an early birthday present. Very awesome, and now my Menasuperion is no longer an amputee!

Humble Bundle has a WiiU/3DS sale going right now. Pay what you want for a collection of indie games on either or both systems. I'm really, really liking Humble Bundle lately!

Just finished the new Daredevil series on Netflix. Fantastic! Not at all family friendly, but the characters are really well done. Even the gore, violence, and language weren't nearly as over the top as they could have been. It all fit in nicely and made it feel very realistic. Not knowing much of a...

I just finished the last existing book. Aaaargh! Great book, lots of stuff happening, and lots of stuff I did not see coming.

Except winter. I had kind of expected that winter was coming. One of the characters had foreshadowed that briefly in book 2. :)

Toys R Us has listings now for Quickslinger and Brake-Neck. Brake-Neck makes me think the colors are mis-adjusted on my monitor. Looks like a terrible digibash.

Words. They are indeed awesome, but they tend to come in most books.

I'm on the final disc of the final Game of Thrones book, and Grandpa Martin's just messing with us now. Aaaargh!

I've noticed that a number of stores don't seem to have much for Combiner Wars even online. I've been to a couple Kmarts that seem to not be carrying ANY Transformers anymore. Target is very limited in what's online, and TRU seems to have actually pulled a bunch of their CW listings. Not sure why on...

I have to ask (and not in an accusing way), but if you had paid $20 for them, would you be more disappointed? I know that when I pay big money for something, I'm a lot more likely to force myself to like it. I think a number of 3rd party toys wouldn't get such good reviews except that people have pa...

My very first CD purchase was Sisters of Mercy "Some Girls Wander by Mistake". I didn't even have a CD player, but it wasn't available on cassette, and I assumed at some point I might get a player. (Turns out I was right.)

In high school, I got to see George Carlin and Victor Borge live. (At separate shows. I don't think they've ever toured together.) Steven Wright is one of my absolute favorites, as is Jim Gaffigan. Mike Birbiglia's Netflix special "My Girlfriend's Boyfriend" is fantastic. And, despite all ...
