Oh yeah, the Guinness advert: "Like tick follows tock like tick follows tock". That just popped into my head after all these years. Total Recall (and that may even include the Colin Farrell version).

Wow, you’re a proper NIN fan! Perhaps my only claim to fame is that I read about them in a computer magazine back in ’88, by a guy who was into them, Fields of the Nephilim, Skinny Puppy and Front 242. And yeah, that Vampire Weekend is probably the most useless CD I’ve ever bought! Carole King ‘Tape...

Hey pig, yeah you! Hey pig pig piggy pig pig....

Nine Inch Nails 'The Downward Spiral' (1994) The first time a roommate played me 'Closer' I was utterly enthralled. Again that harsh, pulsing beat, the throbbing industrial techno-metal and the brutal chorus. Trent is so eloquent. Sure enough 21 years later I find the album for 50p in a British Hea...

Ooh, Tears for Fears, you glorious bastard, you! There's an obscure BBC channel, I don't know if its Freeview or what, but they've been showing 'BBC Music presents..." and then repeat the same episode all night long. Their first recorded performance was Tears for Fears (the first performance was rec...

... Picking up Skyquake's slack!

Olafur Arnalds 'For Now I Am Winter' (2013) Plinky-plonky piano full of feeling and darkness that makes me wish I could be deep and brooding, sat before a grand piano whilst it snows out the window, I'm wearing a thick turtleneck jumper, sporting designer stubble and a cat is staring at me with see...

Ouch! If true that really sucks. MTMTE has been a great constant over the last half-dozen years, its monthly turnaround makes it feel half that! I'm glad James has been the writer all this time, and no IDW muppet has come in and messed with his stories... you know, other than the stupid crossovers a...

I've seen murmurings around that Lost Light may be winding down. No idea if this is true, but will there be enough time to resolve all the things that are hanging and seemingly of little importance? - As Unicron (the poster) mentioned in one thread; Ore poofed back to Cybertron with the Metrotitan. ...

Ooh, more than meets the eye! One thing it has taught me though, is I definitely need to go back and re-read the more recent episodes. I tend to always read up to Remain in Light, then the Megatron stuff pre-Slaughterhouse, and The Dying of the Light. I've hardly given other issues much of a re-read...

I just listened to the James Roberts interview from a few episodes ago. A really brilliant Q&A. He had great things to say, and lots of excellent questions put his way, too. And funny; his quip about Dalek being on the whisky, and in turn Dalek's affection for Tom Jones & Billy Joel :D

I love the way Shockwave had to get himself out of that situation. I especially like little extra details that feature every now and then; like Springer's eyes described as Matrix Blue in the Zero Point text story, or here, where Tarn describes Shockwave's spark as being so old: "... Little more tha...

I'm playing Zelda: A Link Between Worlds on the 2DS. Its the SNES Zelda map with spruced up graphics, sound, gameplay and animation and its really beautiful. Full of little touches. I'm also playing Pocket Card Jockey, by Gamefreak, the makers of Pokemon. Its hideously addictive; a mix of horse raci...

Wow, that was a superb issue. There’s never been a bad Scavengers story has there? Perhaps because they’re so tightly confined to an issue or two, they have to move fast and the banter is usually great. Very surprised by the ending, but surely there’s a trick to what we’ve seen? Its brilliantly brut...

Well, the arc isn’t over yet. Fangry appears to be a good one for bearing grudges and he may get his comeuppance on Max in a later episode! “Ah, I remember when I got my arms and legs torn off, eyes smashed in and invasive needles drilled into every part of my brain. Best three years of my life. Mad...

Ah, oh well. I had hope for a little while being a Skids fan! I like to think Fangry is a fair threat, only Fort Max is not like most people (Prowl referred to him as something akin to a Phase Sixer on one of his good days). With his zero tolerance/maximum takedown approach, which I put down to Max’...

Just noticed on the second page that Fort Max is standing in front of Skids’ tombstone, but there is no statue of Skids standing on the tombstone. Is this significant? Does it mean in Necroworld speak that he’s not actually dead?

That was one hell of an issue. I've been waiting for years for the Ten revelation! But this post is more directed toward Mr Dalek: Hey man, I love your photos on Twitter with the talking Transformers (the one's in celebration of the run up to 300). Also, the pic of your tablet showing the cover of a...

God bless us, everyone. :smokin: Dave, I've not seen it, but I hope its just a good ol' bit of mindless fun. I enjoyed Age of Extinction. Today I saw a bit of the Transformers Titans Return CG cartoon. I never knew it existed. Really nice animation, but all the faces are lifeless. The Beast Wars CG ...

Yeah, and I was trying to link to that brilliant Graham Thompson fanfic for anyone interested. I think it was called Killshot, about Blaster and Ultra Magnus (among others), but I didn't have much luck finding it.

Ha, no way. That's awesome. I love Scrounge from the Smelting Pool saga, they've done a good job here. I'd love to see his original wheel mode, but this is a cool change-up!
