They aren't dramatically different from their competition most of the time, no. Transformer deluxes may be $16.50 at walmart now, whereas they're $16.99 at TRU, or within that ballpark. Also, I hadn't even thought about it until Cyberstrike said it, but TRU do carry oddball and large items that pla...

I get the impression in the US TRU isn't shit/overpriced/carrying stock with extensively battered packaging too, whereas I'm surprised the UK branch has lasted this long. There's a fundamental issue if systems allow for debt to be written onto other companies, but those responsible do deserve exten...

You'll have to help me here as I'm not familiar with the fan did community. What's "Nasty" about finding the fact that once again, after the Slag name change, Hasbro have picked British slang for the new Dinobot? Is that not the Slash this thread is talking about? In fanfiction and fan art communit...

Well since no one else has talked about it yet I guess I will. I saw the Doctor Who 2017 Christmas Special and I have to say it was a damn good ending to Calpadi's tenure as the Doctor and to the Moffat era as well. Spoilers ahead. The Good: The idea of the first Doctor not wanting to regenerate bec...

Mass Effect: Andromeda a damn great game that got crapped on by angry worthless trolls. The game has it flaws but it's much better than the hate mob would have you believe.

And I think regardless of when the superhero bubble bursts (and I have more thoughts on that for later, but it's 1AM on my birthday and even this much posting about films is probably a bit sad) there will be those characters who still get films every now and then, and Spider-Man will be one of them...

I watched Dragonslayer an 80s fantasy film about a socorcer's apprentice who has to battle with a dragon only he's "dead" master is the one who kill the dragon. Silly but the dragon does look cool and the final battle is awesome even if the special effect sort limited what they could do.

As it's happening again, I think the only sensible solution is to ban everyone and close the board. Might as well since not many people are posting here now of days to make it worthwhile. In all seriousness a lot of message boards seem to be slowing down and some are just plain dead or dying a slow...

Spider-Man gets more "regular" or non-crazy and/or villains girls (other than Black Cat and maybe Silk) than Batman. Batman seems to like bad girls like Catwoman, Tali Al-Ghoul, and maybe Harley Quinn (who is completely nuts and sometimes she is hero, anti-hero, or villain and in some she is the Jok...

The gestalts make G1 simply the best: the Combaticons and Bruticus, the Predacons and Predaking, the Technobots and Computron, etc. Headmasters, Masterforce, Victory, Beast Wars, Robots In Disguise, Armada, Energon, War for Cybertron, Fall of Cybertron, and Combiner Wars all had gestalts, and hones...

If Beast Wars was better, then why do the G1 characters dominate the marketplace (i.e. Toys, comics, movies, and cartoons)? They are often incorporated into G1 Optimus Primal won the fan contest to be in Power of the Primes line beating every G1 characters like Hound, Megatron, Star Saber, and Arce...

The original series had it's moments and the opening to G.I. Joe: The Movie with the Joes and Cobra battling at the Statue of Liberty is still the best animation ever done IMHO. How is G1 ranked #2: Otet_T0QJ4c and "Beast Wars" is #1? Short version Beast Wars is a better show. Long version: Beast Wars had a smaller cast of characters and thus the writers had to make show about the characters. G1 you could do episodes with specific characters like Powerglide, Preceptor, Bea...

Can the G1 Predacons/Predaking beat the G1 Combaticons/Bruticus? Yes. Which is the better toy set? As individual action figures the G1 Combaticons have slightly more possibility than the individual Predacons, but as combiners Predaking has more possibility than Bruticus but you can't alter the limb...
