Remember the
Universe Blastcharge (BM Blastcharge repaint)proto that surfaced in September?
Now the first test shot has been sighted:

Who was Blastcharge ?
Was the character part of the Beast Machines line ?
I did'nt bother with TF's after G2 until Armada was released.

I take it he was a Vehicon. What was the characters role ? Or is it one that has yet to be explained ?

He wasn't a show charcter.
Plus it's possible that the Ubniverse version might not even be named "Blastcharge" at all. Kind of like Jawbreaker => Frostbite.

He was used in the Wreckers comics as your typical Vehicon general. Megatron claimed Blastcharge once served under the original Megatron. Arcee rather brutally eviscerated him in the end of the only comic he appeared in.
Looks like they mis-transformed the robot mode. The missile launchers are supposed to form his chest, not some goofy backpiece.

That is one ugly TF....dreadful colouring and a terrible robot mode. It does have a halfway decent alt mode though, given a re-paint!
