Unless they're trying to hide from the Autobots. I get the feeling Megatron doesn't appear until the cat is out of the bag anyways.
Ah, that would make sense. Though, I never really saw the decepticons as one, who'd hide from autobots. Always seemed the other way around. Though, they might be more evenly-matched in the movie . . .

The ice kills it for me, too. I can't stand scene-specific toys.
Really, the only new TF toys coming out that interest me are the new Titaniums (esp. G1 Magnus!) and the Real Gear line. Other than that, I'm gonna skip the movie toys.

Yup - the alternate mode is bad .
But I really do like the Leader Class toy, from what I've seen (and it does appear to have more of a transformation. You know, from something weird to another equally straneg thing, but better!). It could well be the first Leader Class Megs I ever own... (Although MP-05 is in the bag also!)
Having characters change alt modes in the space of a 2 hour film seems a bit dodgy though - opens the doors for even more toys !
I like a lot of what I've seen from the line, but can't possibly buy many of them. Leader Megs is on the list just now though. Not Icicle Boy.
New sale thread added with a range of Transformers including Masterpiece, Botcon, CHUG, RID, Movies etc.
Looking for MP-11T Thundercracker and MP-9 Rodimus v2 (Takara version with as few QC issues as possible).
Check out my new sale thread now!
Also items on eBay.

More pics of Ice Megs. Unfortunately, there is a link to a prototype auction but you have to click another link to get there. I posted this for the new photos.

Original photo gallery is here (link below) but it doesn't seem to handle many visitors well:

Personal opinion: Not feeling the love for this figure. It doesn't look terrible from where I'm sitting, but it's not catching my fancy either.

Don't like this Flying Ice Megatron. His Alt mode looks like a flying icicle. To me it really doesn't shout evil more like melted

Erm... even more hideous if that's possible! I think I'll go for the Leader Class figure. I actually
like that one.

A bad mix of colours on the back photo. I just pray for the Leader-class to appear soon. Plus, he's bigger than the Voyager Prime.

From the tech specs, it looks like he has a 10 for intelligence. Doesn't he usually have a 9?

Does anyone know if Megatron spends much time fighting the Autobots covered in Ice in the movie?
Otherwise... well, I guess everything that can be said about the dude, has been said.
