So the second round of Spotlights so far reported is:

Soundwave
Kup
Galvatron
Optimus Prime
Megs

I take it the unknown 'bot is Op and that Megs is included in this list. Or is the Megs spotlight separate due to the fact he has his own four issue mini? The previous Spotlights were five single issues that'll be one TPB. Will the Megs spotlight become it's own TPB or will it be included in with the rest? If not will the second TPB be only four issues or will there be another issue forthcoming.

I think the Megatron mini will be kept separate, and either there'll be another Spotlight or two before the end of the year or the second volume will be a four.

Wahoo! That Kup story is very promising - an underused character coming into his own, or going out of it, if the blurb is to be believed. Doing a Hamlet with Outback's head?

I hope we don't get a 'City of Fear' rework.

That picture of Prime is somewhat different, neh? Big shoulders and smaller lunchbox... But that might be the odd perspective.

You know which one Kup is, yeh?

Myself, I'm glad we're seeing underused characters like Megatron and Optimus Prime...

Yeah, I know which one is Kup! He gets to mutter old stories and wipe Roddy's skidplate for him. There's got to be more to the old goat than that?

Blimey, he even comes over as a bore in 'War Within'....

The Zombie Jazz cover to T:2006 is fantastic, that boy Roach done good again.

EDIT: But Time Wars next? Shouldn't they do at least some of the set up first?

Like his central role in the last dozen or so Marvel issues? Or his role in Target 2006? Or Kup's Story? Or various other non-kids' show bits that had him not doing that?

Kup's Story.

The one where he moans about himself having to drop out of the war, because he's past it? So he saves Roddy and saves himself, and hey ho! back to the warzone all pinky and perky to go?

He rambles (not in the hill-walking sense) a lot.

It's going to be good to see him rambling (not in the hill-walking sense) for a really good reason!

"To be or not to be? That is the question. Whether it is nobler to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune or take up arms against a sea of troubles and, by opposing, end them." etc

I already have the Titan edition of Target: 2006, but Nick's art makes my pants wet nontheless.

edit: Just realized that this has already been posted. Shame on me. Mods, feel free to delete this.

Just like the title says, it's preview time, brought to you by the folks at IDW Publishing!

Is it me, or is this preview seperate from the one we saw not too terribly long ago? (last one being a five pager peek, with Kup fighting off zombies in some hide out)

edit

Ah-ha! Here it is! And I was off just a touch...by three pages...ahem. At this rate, I may not have to pick up the darn thing ;)

Which would be a bit different from "He gets to mutter old stories and wipe Roddy's skidplate for him" (Blurr was the one who needed rescuing). Now, what about the other half-dozen stories I mentioned that you ignored?

Yes, Blurr did need rescuing, but Kup had to first save Roddy who was under attack in a duffed up ship.

He's just trying to prove he's still got it for much of the time. Moans at Roddy, doesn't he?
