Three sets of Lego, all of which are Batman related: One with Catwoman and her motorcycle, another with the Batwing and Joker's copter and one with the Batmobile and Two-Face with a car and a bank vault. Why? Because they were all on special.
I snagged three 90 percent complete Ronin Warriors figures for the immense price of ten dollars.
I got Ryo, Anubis, and...some orange guy.
No longer looking for RID Dreadwind, but I still need Smokejumper. I'm also in need of Mammoth Nemesis Prime's tail piece, as my figure lacks it. Send me a PM.
- Alley Viper (POC): nicely done but a bit OTT, too much going on despite some good stuff. Probably not going to army build that one (especially as they're about a tenner each).
- The Doctor (ROC): Got him as a cheaper alternative to Dr. Venom. Quite badly done on the whole - white coat and sleeves don't line up meaning big black rings around the shoulders, wig keeps falling off and under the lab-wifebeater he's dressed like the Baroness. His weird metal claws barely fit and his suitcase of chemical warfare stuff is basically the same as the stuff I already have with the Hazard Viper.
- Breaker (ROC): Bought because he's so unlike Breaker he can be some random techie - Sparks or Hard Drive or someone. Alright for what he is I suppose.
- Kamakura (Retaliation): Respectable mould, shame I despise the character.
- Starduster (25th): Passable parts figure.
- Air Raid (POC): Ditto
The Classics have suffered from a bad case of derpyeyedness but I guess these aren't too bad - I'm actually more bothered by Leo and Raph gazing to their right all the time than I am by the glassy-eyed stare of Mike.
Those turtles actually look pretty awesome. I like the cartoony style...they look very much like more articulated versions of the toys I had as a kid, without any modernizing or updating. But they didn't make any other characters to go with them, did they?
