I thought it was intentional, what with all the shite and everything.

I assume it's ok to post in this, as it's stickied at the top of the forum, if not I apologise. I found this video of Soundwave having a hard time before the first movie, don't think it made it into the thread.

Looks like he turned it around this year!

I saw this commercial while watching the Discovery Channel. The song is addicting. The TF reference is around 0:34 to 0:36.

Boom de ya dah, boom de ya dah, boom de ya dah, boom de ya dah...

Just as an FYI, you can embed YouTube videos by putting the code between {youtube}{/youtube} only changing the { } brackets for [ ].

Not a bad cover of the song. Bit odd the condoms robot having matches for hands, but it's very impressive nonetheless...

I've merged Paul053's thread into here as it seemed the best fit for it. Pretty decent CGI, at least on my low quality screen.

Yeah, I was quite impressed with the effects on that last vid - as convincing as (or better than) some movie effects.

And, while I didn't enjoy the second half of the vid as much as the first, I really liked parts of that "Soundwave having a bad time" short film. Honestly, the workout sequence, both audio and video aspects, had me fully laughing as much as anything I've seen on the internet in recent memory

EDIT: just watched that new Dr. Smoov/RandalNg one, too. Not what you'd expect from a vid with Smoov's name attached - straight-up action, not spoof - but very good; Beast Wars-esque computer animation.

Also found their promos for Botcon 2009 - have those been linked here anywhere?

I liked both of the Citroen commercials; I thought they were great! I have never seen robots skate and dance like that before! Also, speaking of Nazicons, there was an anime series that I saw at Tower Records back in the 1990s. This series delt with giant, Human-controlled robots. The setting was during World War II, right when some malevolent aliens attacked the Earth. Nazi Germany sided with these powerful aliens, for they were hoping that they would rule the World alongside with the aliens. On the box cover of the VHS tape (You know that this was a while ago when I am still talking about VHS!), I saw a picture of a giant mech robot with a Nazi swastika emblazoned on the side of one of its arm. Don't get me wrong, I am no friend of the Nazi Party or anything like that, it's just that it was a pretty awesome looking weapon. Does anyone know what anime I am talking about? Also, I like that video of the Xerox machine transforming into a robot and back as well.

Thanks in part to Unicron's intervention, Starscream had a very short kingship, didn't he? Visit Links 1 , 2 , 3 and 4 . [no animations in sigs]

So, I've come across some funny TF stuff on teh intra webses which i don't think is linked here:

OP/Megatron TF:TM fight - in Spanish, with... different... subtitles: ... re=related

Unsolved Mysteries: the Death of Optimus Prime (the start of a new youtube career for Ultra Magnus): ... re=related

After More Than Meets the Eye: "Autobots!" and "MEG-A-TRONNN!" - some fun re-edits with actual TF audio (maybe loses the post at the end): ... re=related

some more fun with Prime/Megs fight in TfTAM (gets better after the first minute, 1st min largely skippable): ... re=related

"I Think Megatron Hates Starscream" - supporting evidence, and other editing games: ... re=related

"Megatron's Bastard Plan" - parody of "Master Plan", part 1 - all-new audio, pretty good TF voices: ... re=related

less funny, but coll: Optimus' death in The (animated) Movie, to tune of Johnny Cash's take on "Hurt":

And, a stop-motion recreation of that Tf:T(A)M fight (wow, that's a popular subject):
