G2 European Leaflet

Post by numbat »

Hi.

Just wanted to put this up.

If you want it for the site, I'll scan it properly.

I just wanted to back up my Rotorstorm claim. Here he is in full glory standing alongside G2 figures!

So, either he is G2, or this is a nice piece of history with the transition from G1 to G2 printed on paper!

Let me know if you'd like a proper scan!

Chris

Yeah, wouldn't hurt. :)

Stuff on that side got at least one outing before 'Generation 2' branding was in place, as far as I'm aware. I dimly recall most of them showing up in TRU at the time... quite a disappointment as they'd managed to clear most of the Classic Heroes stuff by then, which were what I was after...

Is there G2 branding on the Rotorstorm packaging you've got?

Turbomasters were originally "G1". This is my brother's Flash, with the package and leaflet. I'll have to check if I can take a proper scan of the leaflet.

Yeah, I remember getting Flash... mostly 'cause he reminded me of Hot Rod...

Hi,

Confusing times!

I got Flash on G2 branding way-back-when (certainly not on the card above), but alas, have lost the packagings through my many many moves!

(And about to make yet another, and have had to sell off half my collection - damn, conservation is a bugger of a career at the start! Always on the move... if lucky enough to be getting paid!)

I'll scan the leaflet as soon as I get the chance!

Hope you all had a great New Year!

OK- Here's a better version of the leaflet (at last!). It's scanned rather than snapped with a digi-cam. The second side will be posted below.

And here is the second side!

I shall now be dropped beneath radar for a week or so, while I settle in to my new job and organise a new web connection in the middle of nowhere (literally - 3 houses in postcode!). But I shall be working on the reviews I have claimed! Never fear!

No rush, but when you get back could you mail me larger filesize versions please? denyer@tfarchive.com [and mark 'em TRANSFORMERS or something, it makes things a bit easier to pick out with the volume of spam a public address gets]

I'll put them up for now, but at ~200Kb the JPEG compression makes them come out rather blurry.

Just to say, I really will get a better version of that leaflet to you, but time, technology & weather have not been talking to each other lately, it seems...

Mr. Ayres seems to have few other possibly interesting catalogues.

I'm not that familiar with those, so I don't know which are already available on the site.
