Gigatron looked over his shoulder

"There was an incident my men are dealing with it. The construction of the armour leaves it vulnerable to internal explosions . However it is proff against external attack.

I will have one of my men escort you to a viewing room where you can review allthe information we have gathered on the Imperial fleet."

"Lead the way." Monocole said. "I am very interested to know of the Imperial's defences and ship manufacturing."

Bridge

"Well, I will look around the ship. Go attend your duties, Micromaster." Scorponok said, gently lowering Barricade down onto his seat. "I want to roam around for a while, familiarizing myself with the base."

"Hooligan, you're off-duty. But one prank, and you'll end up in the brig, get it?" Barricade said, before scuttling off to oversee the repair process.

Scorponok grunted, before stalking out of the bridge section to explore the ship. He had things to do, people to... meet. Scorponok found himself heading for Hangar Bay 17, though he doesn't know that yet.

"Alright." Topspin said in reply to Gigatron, "Always looking for ways to stay atop the pyramid. Let me know when we can get started researching those weapons - ways to improve our own, and how best to stop theirs. Should be fun. Got any of their actual weaponry, other than what's on the main ship over there? You know - use it for testing purposes?"

No turning back now, Springer thinks. If all goes well, we should be able to gather enough information to give the Autobots the tools to create weaponry and defencive measures against The Imperials. If they ever decide to atack. If not, we'll be prepared if Gigatron ever decides to turn these things against us.

Springer let's his optics scan the area. He turns around to Monocole, Topspin and the others. "Alright men. Learn as much as you can and don't forget the relay your data to me so I can collect it in one file. I'll head for the bridge to see how you have to fly one of those things and what its space travel capabiliets are."

We actually have examples of Destroyer and a Fleet Auxilary in orbit Breast Force is looking after them. If Sky Lynx would like to take a small party up into Orbit to examine them I will warn Trypticon. "

He turned to Octane

" I am afraid that we have delayed the Tarn Mission for long enough I will look after the Autobots."

He looked at Monocle

"You have some kind of connections to the publishing industry I believe?"

"Not explicitly, but yes, I have some close allies who are part of a publication company. Not as big as the CBC or the like, but still, he provides news to the media." Monocole said, referencing Paperweight. "Why do you inquire, Gigatron?"

"I was thinking more Downloads than the news media. I have a plan to get information out about the Imperial threat. It's a little unusual but I would need someone to publish material preferably a Science Fiction or Entertainment publishing house

That's an interesting offer, but I don't trust you enough Gigatron, Springer thinks, to send men up in space and isolate them from the rest of the group. Especially when it involes the Brestforce. However, if Sky Lynx is up for it.....

"So what do you say, Sky Lynx?" Springer say. "You up for it?"

Awaiting Sky Lynx's reply, Springer turns to Gigatron. "So, Gigatron. Show me where one of those viewing rooms are, so I can take a look at the information that you are willing to share with us. After that, I would love to have a tour around the Tyrant."

Octane looks over to Gigatron. "Do you want me to go to Tarn, my lord?" What could possibly be in Tarn that you would need, sir?

"The underwater base we are going to convert into a space station. It has abandoned for some time. We will need a list of parts to bring it up to scratch."

Hooligan nodded at Barricade's orders. No pranks? Awwww.... Hooligan itched to pull a fast one on the Micromaster, but if rumours are to be believed, Barricade has a mean streak a mile wide, like an evil coach. Hooligan decided not to risk it.

Instead, he tottered after the much larger Scorponok, hoping to get into a scrap or two. Even if he doesn't, hanging around officers is bound to get him noticed.

"My apoligies, my lord" Octane said to Gigatron. "With the Bug Bite situation and the Autobots visiting Crystal City, I haven't had the time to read up on everything. To be honest, I'm still getting used to not hearing destroy this, destroy that."

Octane turns his head towards the Autobots and scans them for a few kliks. His optics narrow and he starts to think. I know I can trust Springer not to do anything stupid, but I don't know about the other ones. Especially that Sky Lynx...

Octane tuns his attention back to Gigatron. "My lord, do you want me to go to the underwater base in Tarn?

Scorponok stalked into the hangar bay, standing in one corner. He could recognize most of the Autobots -- Springer, Topspin and Sky Lynx were easily recognizable. However two of them -- namely Monocole and the newly-reformatted Powerglide -- he did not recognize. Scorponok said nothing, and stood on the doorway.

Scorponok noted Octane and Gigatron conferring amongst themselves.

I don't like this. Sooner or later, we will betray each other. But alliances are necessary in war... even how unpleasant they may be.

"Greetings, lord Gigatron." Scorponok said, bowing slightly to the Decepticon hexchanger. Not bothering for more plesantaries (and blatantly ignoring the Autobots, as a show) Scorponok asked, "How can I be of most use to the cause?"

The faster I get to work, the better... The Decepticons need to be whipped back into order.

Scorponok, with that ever-present scowl on his face, wondered what sort of position would Gigatron place him in. Training, perhaps? Like what he was tasked not long before the Civil War? Unlikely. The troops here are few, and training won't be that efficient. Leading troops? Or probably more projects? More likely, it seems.

Springer takes a few steps back towards Sky Lynx and whispers. "Remember when you said that you felt as if something feels not right? This is your chance to investigate. We'll cover everything here on the ground, while you can go up and take a look over there."

At that moment, Scorponok entered the Hangar Bay and immediately caught the attention of Springer. Hmm... Scorponok here? I don't know if that is such a good thing. With all these changing allegiances within the Decepticon ranks, I have no clue who's my enemy and who's supposedly my ally. Even Octane is acting stranger.

Springer ponders some more on these thoughts. I wonder what he wants? He's a former Decepticon leader and was a very succesfull one too. I remember scanning the datatracks on him a long time ago. He is the one that consolidated 2 seperate Decepticon armies into one. Is he planning on doing that again? Is he going to betray Gigatron?

Springer looks at his fellow Autobots. His optics go from Sky Lynx, to Monocole, to Powerglide and then to Topspin. With me and the others here, he might blame us. I have to keep my optics open at maximum and keep a good optic on him. Any sudden movements and we're out of here.

Octane takes a good long look at the Autobots present. Might as well let Gigatron handle the rest. With Scorponok here, there's no chance the Autobots would do anything stupid he thinks.

"Very well, lord Gigatron. I will leave the Autobots to you. I'll go to Jury Rig right now and talk to him before leaving for the Underwater base in Tarn." Octane says as he turns around and heads towards the bridge.

Octane walks down the corridors of the Tyrant and walks up to the sliding door that leads to the bridge. He walks in and takes a look around. He notices Jury Rig and walks up to him. "Hello, Jury Rig. Lord Gigatron told me that you are the 'bot to talk to about the Underwater Base in Tarn, am I right?"

He waved to the pilot and the take off sequence commenced.
