Not sure if this is an official Hasbro/Takara toy or a third party product...

It's obviously Universe Jazz - look at the join lines.

TITS!

It's Universe Moonracer!

The pubic mound confirms it!

Hmm... looks sort of nice, although I don't think it's actually legit.

I agree; this doesn't look like it transforms. Certainly pose-able, but not transformable. Probably one of the Cassettacons, going off of the design on the chest. Instant repaint? MUCH.

Surely the gaping cavities in the legs and the shoulder hinges are there for something? If it was non-transforming, surely it'd be closer to the animation model? Or are Takara just so invested in design fail theat they automatically put aspects of imperfect transformations into non-transforming toys now?

If it is a new Freble, it might not transform into anything like a cassette - look at the way Classics Mirage looked just like his G1 counterpart in robot mode, but turned into something from Lego Space.

I like how it looks sturdy, however I'm not certain it can transform.

I like it. If it's in Classics/TFU/Whatever they plan to call it, I'll pick it up.

...In retrospect, after looking at it again... maybe it does transform. I can see the panels to which the shoulders are attached moving in a fashoin that's not limited to providing posability... I can kinda see it pulling off a Freble-style transformation, but I don't know. Guess we'll have to wait and see...

It could be a Titanium/Robot Masters type thing, where the emphasis firmly on the robot mode, leading to a "folded up robot" alternate mode. As I say, if it doesn't transform it's astonishingly awful design work. But then we're talking about a company that regularly struggles with "car into robot", so it could go either way.

That's what I was thinking. I just couldn't remember what the line was called.

Seems like this is an upcoming Fansproject (i.e. unlicensed) project.

?! Okay, then. What a random attachment. I've been eyeing the recent set of Encore cassettes, though.
