Photography by my wife, because I suck at taking pictures. ;)

Just showing off the awesomeness of this figure. I really like having him posed next to ROTF Bludgeon on my toy shelf, due to the similarity of weapons.

Yes! :)

The character is nothing to write home about, but the toy's awesome. Great weapons, great posability, an okay alternate mode, comic-accurate...

Yeah I agree, I'm not that fond of the character in the comics. But even still, I don't think Drift's character annoys me as much as it does others. The toy is just pure awesome sauce though, I can't really say that more. ;)

He's 60% legs and has a silly windscreen chest. You suck.

Drift's probably alright unless he takes a direct shot to the colarbone.

I, too, has some same feeling. He might look even better if the windshield can rotate to point down instead.

Indeed. Actually just took some pictures of him with Bludgeon last night, too.

And what are those things hanging off his hips meant to be? Scabbards? Do they work as scabbards?

I love the robot, but hate the colour scheme. Looks like white plastic already yellowing with age.

On the plus side, his windscreen chest reminds me of weedy rappers in 80's videos sporting oversized shades and a die hard vest.

I was watching 'Do The Right Thing' last night, he could pass as one of the annoying bastards in that. Even Rosie Perez.

Yes, they are. The door/scabbard stores the short sword. The sword's handle folds in in car mode.

I am kind of impressed by those pictures. To me, they say "You want to own me. BUY ME, DAMMIT"

And I answer back, "But my kitty needs food!... Bah, she can eat apples."

Please note, I do not actually feed my kitty apples.

Nice ones. I came to the same conclusion when I first bought him. They make a natural pair.

Drift has a lot of potential for a Transformer figure. Sure, I have some problems with him, such as the loss of articulation in the shoulders, but he's just an awesome toy.

But seriously. Drift is the character you created back when you were five, and wished Hasbro would have made an official toy out of.

I almost bought him last week based on this photo set alone.

I picked him up last week and I freaking love this figure, so much better than the generations thrust that I picked up the week before! I can't put the li'l bastard down! We got a kitten last saturday and I still prefer playing with drift!
