I see MMC Carnifex is up for pre-order (September release estimated) at Kapow for £159.99.

Not a bad price for such a huge high-end figure. Can't wait!

I don't give two flips about Overlord, but that is a pretty figure.

Kapow have just listed a bunch of Fansproject and other stuff... Riftshot and Recoiler, Combes Robin, the Optimus deco of their Skullcruncher that was previously limited, and the Generation Toys homage of Jazz. Plus the black MP Tracks.

Assume FP are reissuing some stuff... I'm actually more interested in the Croctimus than the Tracks / Loud Pedal, as not sure how easy it'd be to re-sticker with Autobot logos.

The Jazz... eh, maybe if they do a closer colour match. Feels a bit more like a Stunticon build.

Yeah, tons of FP and Maketoys stuff, including the Swerve/Gears combo, Green Giant, Utopia AND Dystopia...either the companies are reissuing things or are offering leftover stock to whoever is buying.

Warbotron Jazz looks nifty, perhaps re-evaluate that once some reviews are out. Looks very similar to the upcoming 3P stunticons.

OOh Loud Pedal is a Decepticon! I'm in for that. Love the toy-based head sculpt.

DX9 Blitzwing updates

FB-linked, sorry.

The tail fins are definitely an improvement. Has me tempted.

And MMC's Jaegertron is up for pre-order at most retailers, including in the UK.

Price is a bit higher than I expected but he does come with an additional block of accessories. Faces for Feralcons and Nero Feralcons also available separately at US retailers for now.

Supposed July-August release.

With DX9 and KFC on the brink of releasing their own Blitzwings, Fanstoys have announced they're taking a crack at one too.

That's almost exactly the animation model done CGI though isn't it? Is that any indication of what the toy will actually look like?

Based on past experiences with FT, the final product will be different 5-10% with tweaks here and there, but yes, it's a rough indication of what it will look like.

FT Skyfire proto will be shown at TFCon.

MMC Jazz [same series as the Mirage and Inferno] also announced, designed by the guy that did their Mirage.

Yellow release of ToyWorld's Constructor also imminent, I think through their website only for the time being.

Well I wasn't expecting anymore 3P news until TFCon, but it looks like FansToys are doing a Springer...

Well, that actually looks like Springer, so it automatically beats out the Hasbro and Fansproject versions on that score...

I can see there might be a market for a more TV Springer, but I'm so used to the Roche look now he actually looks oddly squat and dull (and whilst the helicopter is nicely G1 Springer the car looks terrible). And I would have thought anyone who'd want one would have picked up the previous 3P attempt that couldn't shift for love or money once the Hasbro one came out.

News starting to seep through from TFCon.

MMC's Ocular Max series bringing a Grapple, Artfire (both expected) and a Trailbreaker.

And what looks like a Reformatted range version of Death's Head.

Gosh so many new things

First sightings here

FT Grimlock and Galvatron proper test shots.
FT Weirdwolf [looks very boxy]

MMC Whirl and Obsidian [retools of each other]
MMC Death's head [retool of Lockdown and Cyclonus]

Same company that is doing the IDW Stunticons and Jazz is also doing Ongoing-era Prime and Stealth bomber Megatron

MMC MP Trailbreaker [very retro looking]
MMC MP Artfire, Hauler and Grapple. Artfire has a targetmaster.
MMC Ravage in blue [Garboil?]

Plus loads of others. Busy day. There's supposedly a test shot of MT Megatron [MP Version] around, we might see that tomorrow.

Quick thoughts:

That FT Grimlock is verging on KO territory, it's so similar to the MP.

Trailbreaker is going to make a lot of cartoon fans happy, I think.

And the Thunderwing had me super-excited until I clicked on the thumbnail and saw it was based on the kibbly IDW version. I wish Marvel would get more love. :(

The Seacons continue to amaze.

Howlback! Garboil is the bird.

Either way, somebody made a Cobalt Sentry. What a time to be alive!

Better pics of Grimlock here

I do agree, he looks way too similar to the original. A bit too simple looking?

There's two Thunderwings coming out, that IDW one and the MMC one which is a bit more down their alley and has a mini pretender. Neither look much like the Marvel G1 version.

Artfire and Trailbreaker have my attention. A gray toy repaint of that FT Galvatron and I'm set.

And maybe a bank loan for all those MMC Reformatted bots.

EDIT: Hoist alt mode--FB page

First look at MT MP Megatron test shot

FT Skyfire

MMC's blue Ravage has been seen before, yes. Grapple [kind of] too.

More pics of Megatron, MT Jazz, MT Apeface

EDIT: Ignore me and look at the 400+ slides here

So...

Planet X FOC Trypticon
FT Grimlock will have new heads for all previous dinos except Stomp
FT Galvatron looks boss
FT Weirdwolf wolf mode is actually pretty nifty. Comes with new Tesla face
FT Skyfire is absurdly big.
Two different Ongoing-era IDW MP scale Primes
MP scale Stealth bomber Megs with display base
Another company [sorry not clear which] is making another Liokaiser
MMC f*cking Helex, with Tessarus shadowed out.
MMC Laserbeak.
MT MP Megs looks very nice.
MT MP style Galaxy Force Starscream.

Toyworld also doing MP Hoist and Trailbreaker [LOL two companies go at it on the same day], and TW and MMC will compete with MT as well for MP Jazz.
