Another set of eyes

Post by HotShot81 »

Alright as I get close to finishing Jetfire's review, I've hit a snag, and I need others viewpoints.

I've taken 3 photographs of him that I am calling A, B, C

A) Flash, no above light
B) Flash, with above light
C) Only above light.

I just want to know which one looks best of all.

Just to be clear the order the look is left to right.

In terms of overall look, I'd have to go with A. If you want to show off light piping, C.

B is just too bright.
As a professional tanuki (I'm a Japanese mythological animal, and a good luck charm), I have an alarm clock built into me somewhere. I also look like a stuffed animal. And you thought your life was tough......

I am looking to show the toy off as clear as possible. A 20 MP camera should do the job. I am just not used to working with a toy so white, which is why I am using a black box. Also why I am asking for other sets of eyes.

I'd agree with the others, picture (A) looks the best. I can't see any detail with (B), and (C) makes Jetfire look yellow.

Resolution is increasingly irrelevant these days, light and lens quality make the most difference.
