WWE Royal Rumble?
If things stay the way are the WWE is going to have a major problem with the Royal Rumble:
The Royal Rumble decideds a #1 contender for WWE/World Heavyweight Champion at Wrestlemania but they got 2 World Championships how are they going to have a Battle Royal where the winner gets a title shot at Wrestlemania when they are currently 2 different World Champions (HBK-(WCW)World Heaveyweight Championship and Big Show-WWE Champion
The Royal Rumbles in the past are an hour with 30 men
So how are they going to this?
One Royal Rumble where the last man from each show are given a title shot?
Are they going to do 2 Royal Rumbles at 30 minutes with 15 men from each show?
No Royal Rumble at all?
Any thoughts?

Brenocons pick would be the most logical one. Two Rumbles would be a total anticlimax. "And the winnerof the 2003 Royal Rumble is Edge! What a great Royal Rumble this was! Next up, another Royal Rumble!" Yippee.
Also the two last men from each show getting the shot wouldn't be that good. If the last two would be one from each show, what's the reason to continue. Just shake hands and leave.
There is also a slight problem with the "one Rumble and the winner gets a shot at his show's title at Wrestlemania" -scenario. Because that made the Royal Rumble so important. The winner would get a title shot at the WWE's biggest PPV. But if the other show had to have a #1 contender by other means, well that just takes some of the glamour away.
Obviously they didn't think about Royal Rumble when they decided to do the roster split.

30 men, split evenly from each roster. Winner gets a shot at the championship from his show.
Ie, if Lesnar wins, he faces the WWE Champion.
If Jericho wins, he faces the World Champion.
Simple, straightforward and probably wrong.
Brillant solution.
Yeap, probably wrong. Maybe the WWE should read the AWF stuff. You guys produce better story lines afterall.
I wouldn't be surprised if sometime after Armaggedon, Bischoff came out and said that the Royal Rumble was an old gimmick, and that he wasn't going to let any of his superstars compete in it.
Stephanie would then say that the Rumble is still on and it is for a shot at the belt that the Big Show is currently holding, and that wrestlers from Smackdown and RAW will be welcom to compete in it.
Then Bischoff will say that anyone from RAW that tries to compete in the rumble will be suspended. The final roster for the Rumble won't be revealed until the PPV itself, where we find out that about 10 or 15 members of RAW have decided to disobey Bischoff's orders and join the Rumble.
Since Bischoff can't suspend that many superstars, he'll simply pick on the wrestlers who he considers to be the ring leaders (aka the face wrestlers).
As far as the winner goes, it'll probably be someone from Smackdown so that they can have the champ and the #1 competator on the same show.
Just a theory.

The WWE first had the idea to have a two rings side by side one for Raw and one for Smackdown but that idea was scrapped, and they havn't thought about the rumble since, but they're gonna have to start soon. Gotta hate booking on the fly.

...and I'm going to be there to see it.
Give me one good reason why I shouldn't shoot you for that, Ghosty?

Going to live WWE events rocks. I wish I was going to the Royal Rumble.

royal rumble is by far the greatest event that ever happened in my life....after the toilet was invented. Well Royal rumble is my favorite WWE PPV's of all time, lets hope it wont suck.
AWF IS BETTER THAN WWE!!!
X-WCW IS GREAT...but still..AWF IS GREATEST!!! But I think both feds are kinda cool in the same level, or maybe AWF is leading by 3-4 notches, or I dunno....ask einstein or someone, not me.
Hmmm...I sense Haku will be in the Rumble to bring out samoan violence to the ring!!!! HAKUMANIA WILL RISE!!!!!!!....I hope

Nope. That'll be saved for WrestleMania. It's likely that Angle will defend against Benoit at the Rumble. Niiiice.
Oh, and apparantly the format has been decided, and will be revealed on tonight's Raw.
For those not wanting spoilers, please turn back...

Two Rumble matches, one for each brand. 15 men in each.
That devalues the concept too much for me too even bother ranting about...
