Typical tightey whitey conservatives who mistake civil rights as including the right to control how other's live.

Republicans. Hate them ALL.

People who say "nuff said", then keep talking.

People who can't accept a name change for a toy.

Poeple who can't accept a name change for a toy, and constantly refer to it by a deliberate misnaming, interrupted by an elipse and the trademarked name.

Example: "Hey guys, I just picked up Alt Drags...err..Decepticharge"

WE ****ING KNOW WHAT IT'S NAME IS. YOU DON'T HAVE TO MAKE THIS SAME STUPID-****ING-ASS UNFUNNY JOKE EVERY SINGLE GODAMN TIME YOU SAY THE NAME OF A TOY THAT DOESN'T CARRY THE NAME THAT YOU WANTED IT TO CARRY.

UGH.

Kicker is my favorite character from any Transformers series.
I doubt you have anything to say or do about it.

Here's another one.

"Fans" who blame the Japanese for Transformers anime shows having bad dubs. That's called "Racism".

Gosh, you'd best find a toy of his favourite character and a lighter then...

(Tom, still out there? ;) If so, will get right back to the site after this format. :))

Nah, no need to release toxic fumes. All you need is Energon Omega Supreme.

The reality: Kids enjoy Transformers, buy lots of the toys, and also relate to Kicker to a degree that his toy becomes the most sold Deluxe in the entire toyline.

The stupidity of adult fans: Use adult income to buy up all the toys, making it hard for kids to find stuff, who must save allowances for weeks. While kids are enjoying the hobby designed for them, this group of old geeks sit online and complain about how their toyline for kids is marketed at kids too much, so in retaliation, they sit and take unfunny pictures of their toys killing the character that's meant to relate to kids, and show them to all of their equally upsetting internet friends.
Yeah, you guys are so ****ing cool.

I hope you get your nuts punched by a 5 year old.

Brilliant. Nevermind it was just a joke. Way to jump to conclusions there. Hurrah!

In actuality, I don't mind Kicker all that much. I think he can be a tad melodramatic at times but he's far more interesting than Rad, Carlos, or any of the Armada kids with the exception of Alexis. So why do I have Kicker in the grips of Omega Supreme? Well for one thing, I was having trouble getting Kicker to stand somewhere on my shelf where he would be noticable. I figured the best way to show him off would be to have him in the grips of Omega. There he would be isolated and add a touch of humor. You can also think of it this way, if I didn't like Kicker, then why would I buy him and still have him after months? Figures that I had and didn't want, I got rid of them. Either by giving them to friends or the local donation drop so that kids who aren't that fortunate can buy the figure for even cheaper than what you find in TRU, Walmart, or Target.

Buying up toys so that little kids cannot get to them? Riiiiiiiiiiiight. Whatever. Yes, they are children's toys and yes, I do go to Toys R' Us to buy some of them; however, I don't go out and immediately do it as soon as they're available. I let them sit for a few weeks. When I finally do go there, lo and behold there are numerous Energon Optimus Primes, E. Megatrons, E. Omega Supremes, Wing Sabers, Omnicons, Steamhammers and other gestalt central body figures, Alpha Quintessons, and Kickers. If I see a little kid looking at them, of course I'm going to let him grab whatever he wants. Afterall, they are within his age range and it's the nice thing to do. Besides, if I really want the figure and the little kid grabs the last one, I always have the option of e-bay or BBTS (bigbadtoystore.com for those who are wondering) or any other reputable online store.

But guess how many times I've seen little kids drooling over Transformers when I go there, even on the weekends when the parking lot is packed? Once, and only once after doing this for nearly two years. Usually when I go there, there aren't any little kids in sight around the TF section in my area. If the kids wanted them that badly, Mom and/or Dad would have gotten them a few for their birthday, Christmas (or other religious holiday that I'm not mentioning), or as a general surprise. I know this is the case for at least some of the kids since the parents usually ask me what's good and what's not in terms of TFs if they don't know and decide to ask me. Even when I buy the ones I want, there are still a boatload left over and are still there after quite a few weeks.

Don't think you were here when Rock was... basically, what happened was that he got in a strop with Cliffjumper (the poster) and decided to aim for the 'moral highground' by getting his cat to piss on Cliffjumper (the toy) or something along those lines...

Rock was, not to put too fine a point on it, mentally disturbed.

Other things that annoy me:

-having a really short term memory

-worries and doubts that always seem to bug you

-feeling stupid at times

-stating the obvious (whether I did it or someone else did it)

-the fact that money equals power

-the fact the money also equals life

-people who try to tell me how to live

-peopel who stay so out of date with the changing times that I get phone calls from the '60s asking where they went

-religious freaks that are hypocrites (sp)

-religous freaks that get in your face

-hypocrites in general

-people who believe in asserting authority through strength rather then having a mature discussion or debate

-stupid, pointless tv shows that get ridiculously big and popular

-reality tv

-stupid ideas that get big and popular

Whoa... where to start.... So many things wrong, so little time
Oh! For anyone wondering what annoys me: People who sound like they know what they're talking about, act with a very pompus attitude, flame occasionally and just generally act in an anti-social attitude.
Because remember kids, if you want to be part of the cool crowd, you have to rebel, strike out against "the man" and be dark and depressed - just like everyone else.....

I would love to know where you got the statistics on this one. Really! Kicker\Highwire was short cased. Meaning there was only one of him to a case, when most other figures got 2 or 3. By those sheer numbers, it would be impossible for him to out-sell the others, unless by some miricle every store in the Hasbro distribution area was granted a "special" case, which contained nothing by Kickers and Highwires....
Even so, if he was so sought after, why does he decorate the shelves at every Zellers, TRU and Walmart I went to yesterday? (In my vain search for the Combiner limbs I was missing)

Now, if you're talking about Superlink Kicker - he sold pretty well. Both his original version and the 20th Ann special that was boxed with Deluxe Convoy sold out and are actually pretty sought after in the secondary markets. But, as I don't have Takara's numbers on that one - I can't comment completely.
The stupidity of adult fans: Use adult income to buy up all the toys, making it hard for kids to find stuff, who must save allowances for weeks.
Wow, you're obviously not an adult then. I mean, I'm 25 (ancient I know!) and between Car payments, Gas, Insurence, Rent, Buying food, Internet, Cable, Phone, Cell, Parking, Clothing, Student loan, Credit Card Payments (well, I don't owe my credit card anything, but you get the idea), the occasional nice gift or dinner for my wife and I - I have litterally Thousands of dollars I spend on Transformers, every week! The fact of the matter is, most Adult fans collect the toy as some form of hobby or stress relief and do so with the very little money they manage to save at the end of the month. Perhaps you should ask mommy and daddy to up your allowance so you can buy some more 'Formers. Or better yet, Get a job! Then you'll have lots of money to get any TF's you want
Couple of points here:

1) Look up Irony at http://www.dictionary.com: "Someone sitting online bitching about people bitching online" - wait, that's not ironic, that's just sad.

2) Energon was marketed for kids. Transformers as a Brand is marketed to a wider demographic. The G1 reissues as well as Alternators are ment for my age group. But here's the fun one: If Energon\Superlink was targeted at 9-13yo's why was so much effort put in to the G1 homages? Perhaps it's to entice the older collectors to purchase a newer version of their favourite characters? (You say "What Homages?" and we're going to have words) So guess what - people aren't going to like Kicker. He's about on par with Spike as far as I'm concerned - better than the Armada kids, Buster and Daniel, but still superfluous waste of a character. He irritates the hell out of me, but so does E Ironhide.
But, in your world: Because I'm over 12, have hair on my chin and my balls have dropped - my oppinion on the subject doesn't matter - way to go champ.

3) If you don't like: A) the fandom, B) The Website, C) The toyline - Stop posting\collecting! It's really easy. Don't do it. You'll have much more of your hard earned allowence AND you don't have to put up with people you don't like. It's a win-win situation. I cannot fathom why so many people think that they are forced to post where they don't like to......

Yeah, you guys are so ****ing cool.
And you sir, are the epitome of poise, style, class and tact. See I know how to use sarcasm too
I hope you get your nuts punched by a 5 year old.

Oh wait, I forgot to add maturity to the above list. I think Denyer said it best for this line though.

I just want to say: I am sick and tired of your holier-than-thou attitude, condesending posts, beligerent attitude to any and all of the posters on this website, most of whom I consider good friends. You don't like it here? Good, "Get's Ta Steppin!" because it is unwelcome. You keep posting like this and more and more people are going to get pissed off with you. Change your attitude or change your place of posting - it's that simple!

To the mods\Admins - I know, this was pretty mean and boardered on flaming (though I tried not to), but he bloody well deserved it. I'm dropping it in this thread - this will be my only post on the subject (well, I'll try anyway ;) )
