Maybe I should've saved that image at Transfans as a JPEG rather than a GIF... it doesn't appear that Windows does intelligent resizing on 8-bit colour palettes.

I shall replace it with my coloured version of the Senior pic when I am done. I love the pic, but I've never held on to a b&w desktop background for very long.
