Seriously!

I heard about this a few weeks ago and thought it was hilarious. Turns out they were serious (or at least are honoring their originally outrageous claim). I think the original bet was that they'd give a Dr. Pepper to every American except Slash and Buckethead.
It's even a 20 oz instead of just a can. Classy.

I'm surprised at how good the album actually is too. It should be a lot better though considering it took since 1994 or so to finish it, and they claim it to be the most expensive recording ever. But it is good to hear a new GnR album after all this time

There are so many style changes on the album it is clear that either: A: Rose wrote a song a year or so and didn't bother to tie the styles together OR B: Each style matches a piece of his schizophrenic personality.
