Could everyone please watch Flash Forward?

Post by Notabot »

I'm already hooked on this show, and I don't want ABC to cancel it after 6 weeks because nobody watched. It's got great potential. So please, even if you don't like the show, watch it, tape it, and tell everyone else to watch it too.
Please!

The first episode just appeared on Hulu. I've been impressed with some of ABCs recent shows (mostly Defying Gravity), so I'll have to give this a look. My enjoyment of it, I suspect, will largely depend on how they handle the "see the future" aspect. Time travel gimmicks almost always seem dodgy to me, though I'll admit that Heroes soured me on the whole "bunch of schmucks want to change their destiny" angle.

EDIT: Watched the first episode now. I like the premise so far. One other interesting note. Apparently the show is based on a novel of the same name by Robert J. Sawyer. Anybody read it?

Just caught the first episode, pretty damn good pilot if I must say, definitely gonna continue watching this one, good to see two more Brits (Joseph Fiennes and Jack Davenport) invading US TV this autumn (along with Robert Carlyle and probs a few others)

So yeh, praise for the first episode... Altho, I do have an inability to take Seth McFarlane in any way serious, so him being in this show might well end up being a bad thing...

I might watch it through the interwebs. Best I can promise, sorry.

I like Jack Davenport.

At least try to buy the products which advertise on the show. I'll try to keep a list next week.

Novel approach. I doubt I can influence US sales though.

I wonder if that would have saved Firefly...

FAST! FAST! FORWARD! FORWARD!

Sorry, due to misreading the topic title, that's lodged firmly in my brain. Hopefully I've at least managed to infect any other British board members of between 25 and 30 years by openly posting it, anyway.

Well in this country it's "sponsored by" Blackberry. So no. No I will not.
