Oh GAWD, I remember my 1st posts back in the day. I was so terrified Denyer was going to ban me when I went on a posting frenzy with Sir Auros and Big Maki one night....word wars.

Cliffy was still call Cliffy and Skywarp was Warp...

Oh man, those were the days....

Still love all of you, new and old, this is the best Transformer fansite on the web! Period!

10 years ago? I barely remember 10 minutes ago.

... speaking of which, where the hell am I?

10 years ago I was just starting to post with some regularity around here. I was just starting to take some interest in the UK comic and Beast Wars and Beast Machines and was in the process of spending all my money on every RiD toy I could find.

10 years ago I barely knew any of you guys. I think I thought of all of you that were here then very differently than I do now... :eyebrow:

Ten years ago... celebrating my 20th birthday seemed much, much simpler than celebrating my 30th is starting to look. i don't mind it being low key, I do mind that all the many and varied ways I've tried to get people interested has met with tumbleweed.

Loving Dalek's answer. It's true about being 30, it's much harder to round up friends, everyone has more responsibility to deal with.

10 years ago I was living in London, had recently broken up with the girl I was engaged to, drinking heavily with the intention of purposely growing a beergut (we called it the Shatner), playing video games, reading comics and using panful slow dial-up.

Roughly, that might not be exactly 10 years ago, but give or take half a year.

OINO

10 years ago a Blackberry was food, not something to look at the archive on while I waited for the bus. Thusly, 10 years ago I didn't have a "smartphone" to read all of you on.

10 years ago I was 10, enjoyed Power Rangers, was shown the internet for the first time and had Ricky Martin's Livin La Vida Loca on cassette.

10 years ago my body started declining from the peak. 10 years ago I was a Gundam and Star Wars fan. 10 years ago I had no kids and was actually preparing my wedding.

10 years now my wife just told me "are you loosing your hair?".

So please don't post this 10 years from now cuz I don't know what will happen.:lol:

It's good to be here.

I found God. Then I lost him. He'll probably turn up down the back of the sofa someday.

Do you remember floppy discs? Isn't it weird that kids these days probably haven't ever used a 3.5 floppy, yet that's still the standard icon for "save"?

Hadn't seen that article. Pretty good stuff, though. I hadn't thought about the old phone handset being something foreign to youngsters.
