IT'S TIME FOR A NEW YOUTUBE THREAD

Post by Sades »

Because I'm bored, I can and the other one is old.

Or, as my six year old would say, "YEETYEETYEET" *dabdabdab*

I heart Sweet_Anita:

And, due to repeated exposure, K-Pop. These kids can dance!

Stick fight is more fun to play than it is to watch

[e] no, wait I was wrong. That first video is funny. I've fallen down the YouTube rabbit hole, will have to watch the rest later...

DECORATE YOUR TREE WITH PASTA AND PAPER ROLLS

tbh I'm kinda down, if they didn't look so flimsy (and ugly, though those little pasta cars are cute). Less plastic garbage is good.

It took me way too long to figure out what was happening with that first craft.

5:57- why is she cutting pipe cleaners and gluing them back together? Srs. Just twist them

I saw them on saturday night live, I think. I don't much care for that kind of music, but their choreography is amaze-balls.

Anyway, perennial favorite:

That is pretty neat! I even like the weird "ripple" that occurs as a result of making the video that way.

eh, I'll probably listen to anything nowadays. Though I wasn't much into K-Pop until after I started watching Bon Voyage, which is a korean reality show basically about BTS travelling. I think it's more of a personality thing, because these kids are real sweethearts. They're cute, they're funny, they're massively talented, they put a lot of hard work in to get where they are and I really quite enjoy their music now. It's also fun to watch subbed video clips of their V Live videos on YouTube.

This is a long one, but damn is it pretty. So much fucking work must have gone into this entire thing, it's nuts. Trending for a reason, I guess. (19 mins in is where it gets good imo)

5e D&D Ravenloft Curse of Strahd -- great group, quick picks up into voices, costumes, minis, etc.

Didn't realise there was a prologue and started with their play through of the Death House introductory adventure, which as it happens I'd read a few years ago.

Yeah, the Spree is good stuff. Saw them in concert a few years ago when they first appeared at RetroCon near Philadelphia. Seems they've made that a yearly thing. Even pledged their Kickstarter to get a signed copy of the CD.

And for another bit of music, here's an 80s remix of Linkin Park's Numb. I find the discontinuity between the music and lyrics is incredibly jarring, especially since the pairing actually works.

I remember those guys dressed as Transformers. I think the stage presence they had was a bit too much for me, I sadly couldn't really get into them.

I'm back with more k-pop, sorry. :D We bought this album. My kid has a new poster for her wall now.

First, my favourite-

It's lush. Love it.

Next!

It's about their fans and imo that's just fucking cute.

Then this-

That dancing tho. K-pop in general, some of the dancing they do is just crazy.

Also at 'round 2:29ish J-Hope (guy on the far left) gets kicked in the head.

Neeext-

Nice.

Oh, shit, I almost forgot-

Yay.

NEW FAVOURITE CHANNEL thank youuu

edit: I just wish there were actual medieval words/spelling mixed in there, asides from the "thee" etc and fun punctuation. Still fun!

edit2: I'm not a fan of the original but I do like this:

edit3: Holy crap YouTube. I did not know medieval-style covers was a thing until today. \o/
