Because you've got "Browse boards with cookies" turned off in your profile.

As this is switched on by default when people create an account, it appears you've been fiddling with the options without understanding them.

find the cookie related to the board and delete it, switch on the correct option & log in.

Might also be worth checking your 'log out after XXX time' setting (if we have them- can't remember)
