Mmm, Hoist really, really works... Not many of the G1 schemes do when arbitrarily slapped on Movie figures, but that looks fab.

Nope, he doesn't look bad. The only reason I am not getting excited is because those colorschemes are over twenty years old.

Yeah. As far as it can go when it comes to toys, I get excited when I see new images of some very cool, fresh looking Transformers, Bionicles, Revoltech's, EVA's or a new Soul of Chogokin.

Wheelie - awesome! Well, not awesome as such as he seems to have less paint applications than I do and probably doesn't have turning wheels, but still, vaguely in-scale Wheelie!

Oh well, if so then I won't care anyway.

As for those legends, I don't think I have really seen Prime's battle damage, and my glasses are not dirty today. Wheelie looks kinda cute... And Sounswave plain awesome...

Yeah, not really. Announcing that an online retailer gets a toy in stock is only "news" if the toy hasn't been released anywhere else yet. Arcee has already been found on shelves.

In case anyone is interested in potentially slightly different Japanese versions of toys:

The Japanese release of Swerve, exclusive to Amazon Japan, might sport a slightly brighter red than Hasbro's version.

Dammit. Why'd you have to post that?! Now I'm going to want to get swerve next time I'm in Toys R Us. :p

Though I haven't bought a transformers in a few weeks . . .

Seriously. Those are some fantastic pictures, and it is a standup mold that looks even more awesome in red.

Since the ROTF Bruticus Maximus is cancelled, I better get around to grabbing the Universe versions of Bruticus and Superion just in case somehing bad happens to them.

I don't think it's canceled because they've just started showing up at Targets here recently. In fact, there seems to be a glut of them on Ebay when I was checking prices to see if it was worth buying a few to scalp. I might be wrong, but I know I've seen them firsthand.

The "cancelled" thing was just a rumor.

Meanwhile, the Toys'R'Us exclusive "Gathering at the Nemesis" three-pack is out.

I always love these sets, just because there's usually one random inclusion that completely throws them out... "Hmmm, how do we recreate the scne with Megatron, The Fallen and Starscream? With a set containing Megatron, The Fallen and Soundwave in a totally different colour scheme to the one used in the film!". Still not as hilarious as the one with a Bumblebee that didn't transform, but a towtruck that did, though.

The Bumblebee role-play combo pack (Voice Mixer helmet and Plasma Cannon) that has previously been found listed in Costco computers is now out in stores.
