Hmm, then I goofed up about the news... again. :p

I'm still waiting for Hasbro to release a Scrapper toy... -sigh-

 I really hope so too! After all, Ravage and the Fallen both disappoint... Ravage has no spine, and the Fallen's head can't come off easily...

Amazon Japan has pics up now.

Bludgeon, Dirge, Jungle Attack Ironhide and Brakedown use the same stock photos as Hasbro (and we saw the Hasbro photos before).

I'm not sure about NEST Alliance Bumblebee, but Demolishor Shanghai Attack and Decepticon Rampage Desert Combat definitely have new pics.

(But apparently these photos are just photoshopped versions of Hasbro's stock photos for the original decos again.)
Looking for a complete Energon Sky Shadow (from Superion Maximus).

Nice! If it actually sees light that'll be cool.

Yeah. Can't tell you how often I hit the wrong button. Luckily I get the "You can't edit this" page since I'm not staff.

... so apparently the screengrabs of Leader Starscream are from the ROTF DVD.

Aww, bit of a shame they've been leaked in a way, it'd have been an awesome thing to spot. I'm guessing it's from some design featurette.

I'm just glad the thing seems to be happening, felt like it disappeared off the radar for a while. Ideally it'll be about an inch shorter than Prime & Megs (which I can see happening as Starscream's relatively fat compared to the leader Leaders). And come with a removable arm. And have an action feature where it can flail around yelling in pain to accurately reflect Starscream's scenes in the film. And be packed with that Legends Wheelie that'd better be out soon.

Doesn't look too bad, but I've got too many leader figures as it is. I know I always say this, but this is it. Can't buy any more. :( Jetfire was the last of them.

I was excited at the prospect of a leader starscream way back during the first film, so it should be pretty cool to finally see one

New preorders for upcoming ROTF toys. Although these are for the Japanese releases, all the images used are the exact same stock photos Hasbro used for their slide at San Diego Comic-Con, just in much better quality, so don't worry that any of these might be "Japanese exclusives".

RD-25 NEST Mindwipe - Hasbro counterpart: Voyager Class Mindwipe (can combine with Scout Skystalker)

Gawd, they're botched the Ratchet, haven't they? Glad I went for the Voyager...

Barricade I'm tempted by just for the Frenzy... That picture of him in the front seat is priceless, however, and the main robot at least has a passing resemblance to the character in the film...

I'm liking white Demolishor. I'd been quite excited by the concept of an HA Barricade, but the stock photos look pretty poor - he's a bean-pole!

The various other Nest figures are interesting. I do have to admit, Mindwipe looks very cool, but at the end of the day, I think I'll be passing.

Dunno...Mindwipe and Skystalker together look like they'd be awesome.

But then, I'm a sucker for combiners of any sort.

Brawn, Scattorshot, Mindwipe, and Skystalker look pretty good. Ratchet's got some serious undercarriage issues. I think I like the animated Lockdown much better, but it's not too bad.

I like Lockdown, but I can't understand why so many movie toys have inverted knees.

Brawn looks spiffy. I especially like the duel hand-guns.

Skystalker looks awesome. Mindwipe looks decent, I guess, but I'd probably pass him for now.

Virtual tour of RA-24 Buster Optimus Prime:
http://www.toyhobby.jp/movie/2009/20091 ... index.html

New stock photos of upcoming Hasbro toys:
http://tformers.com/ig.php?mode=album&a ... 00&start=0

Legends Class:
Arcee (new mold, prototype shown at San Diego Comic-Con)
Jolt (new mold, prototype shown at San Diego Comic-Con)
Stealth Bumblebee (redeco)
Blue Steel Sideswipe (redeco, seen via TFormers before, new pics)
Power Armor Optimus Prime (redeco, seen via TFormers before, new pics)

Deluxe Class:
Alliance Bumblebee (redeco of preview Bumblebee, same one as in the NEST Battle with Soundwave? Also seen via Takara)
Strike Mission Sideswipe (redeco)

Voyager Class:
Defender Optimus Prime (redeco)

Leader Class:
Shadow Command Megatron (redeco)

EDIT:
We've seen Defender Optimus Prime before.
http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-new ... me-168473/

Also, Leader Optimus Prime is an old stock photo, so no redeco there.

EDIT 2: Okay, now I'm confused. I was basing the info on the Preview Bumblebee redeco being in the two-pack with Soundwave solely on the old TFormers news. Soundwave might actually come with the Cannon Bumblebee redeco after all.

BBTS has them up for preorder:
Deluxe wave 7 or 8 (depending on how you count the preview wave) with Alliance Bumblebee, Armorhide (Landmine redeco), Dirge, Tuner Mudflap and Gears (carry-over from earlier waves)
NEST two-pack with Bumblebee and Soundwave
Voyager wave 3 or 4 (Bludgeon and Recon Ironhide)
Looking for a complete Energon Sky Shadow (from Superion Maximus).
Offering: Binaltech Hound, Swindle, Ravage (Corvette), Skids.
Can buy in stores: Robot Heroes Tigatron/Inferno, Ricochet/Predaking.

Christ, Jolt's Legends figure actually looks like Jolt, that is bizarre. Arcee... less said the better. We need a Legends Ravage, though, with removable spine.

The NEST redecos of Bumblebee and Sideswipe really are laughable, I'd rather have a more accurate Sideways

I think thew point here is "stupid retailers" vs. "what the kids want".

The kids want the movie characters. Retailers (read: Walmart) don't want old product, which the fear may become shelfwarmers. Yes, the same Bumblebee again is regarded by Walmart as a potential shelfwarmer, despite the character's popularity.

So Hasbro tries a compromise: Do a minor redeco to appease retailers, but make the the toy look enough like the character to appease kids.
