I don't think I've ever seen the video to that before, suddenly that song being such a big hit makes all sorts of sense. I wonder what happened to her, it's odd she'd fade into obscurity when she seemed to have so much in front of her.

[I do like her "Hey, we'll be doing a retake right Mr. Director Man?" expression when her top starts falling down].

I don't think I've heard of Lonely Island before (at least not by name anyway, i may have seen other vids), but if they get Rihanna in they get my vote of excellence.

I heard this for what must have been the first time in over ten years at the weekend, took me right back to those dim and distant days of the 1990's. I wonder where The Offspring are now? In the pool with Sabrina no doubt. And who can blame them?

Huzzah for sharing. :)

About five seconds with Google gave me this -> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sabrina_Salerno . Not exactly obscurity imo, but then she was an unknown to me until today.

I like nipples. I like the word, too. Nipples. It's like ripples, but with an N.

Can't find a youtube version of this one...

It may not seem much now, but to a teenager in the days before the internet brought free porn to everyone even the hint of a nipple was all that was needed. Today's kids with their ability to just click a mouse and get hours of video where you can't even see the nipples because the're covered in the salty goodness of an entire rugby team don't know they're born.

On a similar note, looking through Youtube, I've just seen both the long about posted in this thread Jizz in my Pants video and Jack Sparrow (Michael Bolton has a sense of humour?!?! Or is possibly completely unself aware). Will have a look at the other stuff you've linked to after I've slept as people are now trying to watch the News in here and aren't interested in comedy music videos. Forshame.

Yeh, reading up about Sabrina random exposure seems to have been an intentional USP rather than a cheeky trick from the video director - if she wasn't up for it, she probably wouldn't have gone for the "bouncing in a pool in a strapless bikini" video, or kept miming... I think a bit like Nena she's a one-hit wonder outside of Italy, but serious singer to the natives.

Favourite random dodgy pop song of the day for today: -

I love it when people don't let a complete inability to sing stop them from being singers.

I've actually now brought both their albums. I'm worryingly addicted to the Sax Man song even if it's basically exactly the same gag as the Shy Ronnie stuff.

This is awesomesauce:

They're doing Britain in a Day today, so if you're in the UK and want to send a video that might be in a film, you've still got time.

This is inexplicably the funniest thing I've ever seen: -

Streaker at a football match evades stewards before being brutally taken down by the home team's mascot. Who then does the worm.

Ahh, the mounted keytar. "It's not just a keyboard, it's rotated 90 degrees and at a slant!"

The Youtube Thread Of Dooooooooooom

Post by Sades »

I got about halfway down the front page, then went "**** it, I'll start a new one". So if it's at the bottom of the page, I don't care.

(Mr. Thread, I give you the thumbs up icon, because I think you are cool.)

This made me so very, very sad.
