Mod Complains

I don't know what is wrong with everybody, but this goes for all Mods. I just complain to TFarchive about this mistreatment and telling me that I'm stupid. Well I hope you mod get what coming you to TFArchive.

For the benefit of anyone else reading, I'd add that getting bent out of shape because you said something daft and someone called you on it, then sending PMs to the mods you could think of, then working your way up the chain... might not be a terrific way of winning friends and influencing people... or anything much.

Difficult seeing as how we're supposed to be reading everything.

Getting fussed over nothing isn't going to solve anything. That's the way this forum is- we have an established base of regular posters who have been here for years and they've developed certain ways of dealing with people. Though they probably aren't the best ways, they're what is and you aren't going to be able to change that. Posting pointless statements in active on-topic discussions is only going to get you a lot of flak.

My advice would be to just ignore it- if you make a stupid comment on something and someone calls you on it, don't react. They'll forget it soon enough. If you do react you'll simply get more of the same and nothing will improve. If however you refrain from posting pointless and/or stupid statements in threads people are trying to have an actual discussion in, you'll get by a lot better.

[edit] Hmm. Really now... Banned pending staff discussion, most likely to be a permanent decision.

Oh my ****ing god! Look, man, you're overreacting. If you can't handle a bit of mocking when you say something stupid you're in the wrong place.

If you can't handle it the best thing to do is make sure you never post anything stupid.

Yeah, I don't think it needs to be permanent...maybe a couple days even, not really a week. People need to lighten up and not take things so seriously. Don't make me bring back Claypool!
