RID Scourge/Air Attack Optimus Primal not coming to Canada

Post by Bombshell » Mon Apr 01, 2002 8:17 pm

According to Transfandom.com, the Toys 'R Us exclusives RID Sciourge and Air Attack Optimus Primal aren't going to come to Canada.

I think this blows. I mean, We gave the world Beast Wars (The most popular TF show in some people's minds) and Beast Machines (OK. Maybe that's why ;) )

Anyway, I believe that if it wasn't for Canada, Transformers wouldn't be as popular as they are. And this is how they repay us?!

That's a real rip-off. I wouldn't mind helping a few people by buying the toy here and shipping it to them.

That's ok, I am not worried.

I got a real good buddy looking out for my Scourge interests in the states, so all is dope in terms of Scourge for me!

Oh man... I can probably get a Scourge, but it'll cost a lot more than it would had it been sold in Canada.

Yeah I can get the Scourge here too, from what I understand they might be at TRU today, I will call and find out.

I don't mind shipping to Canada, I have a Paypal account if anyone is serious about it.

I won't mark it up, you just have to pay what I paid plus shipping to Canada.

I will post here tonight after work with any news about Scourge from TRU...

Okay, so what exactly is air-attack Optimus Primal, a rerelease of the repaint OpOp? Or something else?

It's an almost show-accurate BM Optimus Primal figure... it's actually pretty cool.

... And Damn TRU. Damn them to the firey pit. Growr.

Nooooooooooo! Scourge was one of the only new TF's coming out that I'd wanted to buy! And the prices I've seen on eBay for him are outrageous! :(
(add in the fact that I'm poor enough as it is....dammit)

Count yerselves lucky you get any toys at all... nothing past Wave 1 of BM ever got an official release over here... and we've only got a smattering of RiD toys...

Not that it bothers me, I spent an exorbitant amount on Black Convoy last year... he funkay... and has the right symbols (yay!) :p

Oh, and this be the Primal...

So, where does the air attack come into his name? Why not just call him Supreme Optimus?

You know something, I did not realize that That Op was A Supreme sized toy.

It looks a lot like the blast punch prime that I bought.

Thanks for the info.
