Being a fan of physical media, I've been focusing a lot more on limited run titles coming from Strictly Limited Games, Super Rare Games, Limited Run Games, among others, for the Nintendo Switch. They're all good at bring previously digital only or re-issuing prior titles.

I've been horribly out of the loop on this site for far too long. I can't even recall what I really talked about last, and I've made an insane amount of acquisitions since my last post, nearly a year ago. Let's start with what I can remember that I maybe didn't mention before, and then I'll give a bit on what I've been into with the gaming scene:

Nintendo Switch:
Upgraded to an OLED model since I had a bunch of trade-in credit and gave my old one to one of my kids so they now each have their own. On the games side, I've picked up: Mario Tennis Aces, Mario Kart Deluxe, Metroid Dread, NBA 2K22, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, Retro Bowl, 16-Bit Soccer, Diablo II: Resurrected, Clubhouse Games, Deer Drive Legends, Stardew Valley, Streets of Rage 4, and most recently, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3. Of the batch, SoR4 and Metroid Dread are probably my faves and most played. Marvel UA3 was DL'ed a couple days ago but seems pretty fun for a button-masher.

PS4:
Any and all maps on theHunter: Call of the Wild, Bassmaster 2022, NHL 22, NBA 2k22, Madden 22, Red Dead Redemption 2, Marvel's Avengers, Lego Marvel Super Heroes, Batman Arkham Knight, Doom: Eternal, Streets of Rage 4, Star Wars: Fallen Order, Sonic Colors Ultimate, Pac-Man Championship Edition + Arcade Game Series. I have a massive backlog, as you can tell, but a lot of this is in wait until I finish Spider-man. I bought the game about 2 years ago it seems, and never picked it up until recently. I've finished the main campaign and decided a Platinum was within my capability. So I started New Game+ and the DLC to get enough Base & Challenge tokens to buy all the base game suits for the final trophy I need. Now it's just a matter of time...

And finally, I've been dabbling in retro systems... well, emulators actually. Started with an Anbernic RG351P (handheld system), which had a problem with the headphone jack, so I upgraded to an Anbernic RG351MP that has a better screen and a machined aluminum casing. Flashed a new OS onto it (351ELEC) and added a library of games. It covers Atari 2600, 5200, 7800, NES, GameBoy, GBC, GBA, SNES, N64 (kinda), TurboGrafx 16, TG16 CD, Sega MasterSystem, Genesis, Sega CD, 32X, PS1, and PSP (kinda). It's a great little handheld but takes some work to get it all set up the way I wanted it. Travelled with it a couple weeks ago and it was a blast to have all of that on hand to play wherever. I wanted to do the same on my TV, so I picked up an Ouvislite mini PC that could handle up to a majority of GameCube games. Flashed the Batocera OS onto a 500GB SSD that I put into the system, which comes pre-built with a bunch of features. So in addition to all of the systems on my RG351MP, the mini PC can handle N64 like a breeze, most of the PSP stuff, Atari Jaguar, Dreamcast, and GameCube (~95%). I picked up 2x 8bitdo Pro 2 controllers for it. They work great on bluetooth, and fit basically every system on the machine. Both the handhelds and the mini PC have been great little projects that I'm happy to have been able to do.

After getting a Platinum on Spider-Man PS4 (woohoo! my third Platinum!) and taking a side-step to complete the main campaign in Sonic Colors, I found Spider-Man: Miles Morales on sale so I decided to bite (har-har). I've finished the campaign plus a lot of the extras, took a look at the remaining trophies and decided I could manage a Platinum there too. So I started a New Game + and I'm down to three trophies left (Crime Master, and whatever you get when you finish NG+, then the Platinum). It'll be a work in progress for a little bit, and I'm not sure what I will go to afterwards. Back to COTW? Avengers? Doom? Who knows!

I got the Miles Morales game back in March for my birthday, and I loved it. It's a lot shorter than the original, but in some ways I think that was to its benefit. The sheer number of side-quests and distractions in the first Spidey game felt a little ridiculous when you consider the stakes of the main plot. The Myles game had a few side-missions, but not so many that I ever felt like I was losing focus on the actual story.

Hi. I have also loved this genre of games for a long time. It’s great to realize that you have something that is in limited access. However, I have been attracted to open-world games lately. It is more pleasant to use my plot than a script one. Therefore, I play minecraft server list on weekends. The advantage of the game is that your possibilities are practically unlimited. However, it takes time to get used to the square world. This period stretched for 2 months in my case. It is nostalgic for me.

Right, it's shorter but in a good way. I almost feel like it's a really BIG DLC. The first game was really fun, and I left a bunch of the extras for after the main campaign. I have all the DLC, but largely just used that to complete the trophies for Platinum. Miles has been much more streamlined, so to speak. I'm getting a little burned out on it trying to get the Platinum, but I just knocked out the Crime Master trophy and all I have left to do is finish it on NG+. Considering its length, that is a simple matter of time. Both games are just SO enjoyable!

On an acquisitions note, I picked up Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga for PS4 when it came out a couple weeks ago or so. It's really fun and it's great to have a Lego game to play again with my wife. We used to play the others on GameCube and Wii way back in the day.

Things moved fast in my game collecting all of a sudden. Stuff I ordered what feels like years ago(it was only March) finally showed up, and I got extras on something I won on eBay.

EBay first, since they showed up first.

SD Lupin the Third for the Game Boy. The game is fairly simple, but besides Lupin the Third: Great Brain Puzzle Challenge for the DS, there's not a lot of Lupin the Third games out there that aren't gambling games. And whoever I got this from on eBay threw in two other games, but since they're completely in Japanese, I have no clue what's happening in them. Google Translate says one of them is a Tamagotchi game, and it won't even try to guess the title on the other one. All I can guess is that it's based on a Sunrise property.

For the Switch:

The Letter, a horror visual novel that seems to be in the vein of Sweet Home, just with no RPG elements and better artwork.

Seven Pirates H, a Switch port of Seven Pirates for the Vita, which was only released in Japanese. I've got the Vita version, and while the game seems fun, I've got no freaking clue what's going on.

Both Switch games are the EastAsiaSoft special editions, and while I'm glad the Seven Pirates game came with an artbook, The Letter came with a rather uninspiring poster. I mean, it's nice to have a cast photo of a bunch of characters, but.... meh?

Ark: Survival Evolved is free on Steam until the 19th. If anyone here feels like DLing a poorly optimized beast of a game that will consume a large amount of free space and you like Dinos/weird space shit in a sandbox game, I recommend it! I personally ignore all the tek/space stuff and use it as a building/baby dino raising simulator. I can also recommend a few Unofficial map clusters so you don't have to put up with the painful grind of Official.

Finished Doom 1 and Doom 2 plus the Doom 2 expansion No Rest For The Living, considering going back and playing the expansion for Doom 1 but it is a bit harder than the base game.

Bit late to the party on this one, but…..

NEO GEO Mini Classic Arcade International Edition: I tried to get one off of Amazon, but fortunately since whoever was supposed to send it never did, I got a refund and found a cheaper, if slightly used, one on eBay. I will admit, the main reason I got it was Metal Slug. It’s got Metal Slug 1, 2, 3, X, 4, and 5. And there’s also a bunch of fighting games and arcade side scrollers on there.

You'd think, why look for a job when your parents will probably give you a penny for your allowance before you enroll? But through work you will learn to appreciate the money you earn from your own work. On top of that, you'll gain experience. You'll also try your hand at college and see if you can take classes and work part-time. And along with this become more independent and in your eyes, and parents' eyes. I at one time, not knowing where to go, tied my life to online casinos. At first, when I registered at https://wolfwinnercasino.com/, I did not even think that it would be so interesting.
