I can't help wondering if there's some subtle commentary about online nutters and killing off Transformers.

Nah.

Also...

Is the plan to only need to sell a few dozen copies at that cover price?

I guess the logic is the only people still buying it are mad completist fanboys, so they might as well go for it and charge through the nose. Y'know, like Masterpiece.

Jesus, that's one expensive typo - did the guy not notice when his listing fees were $25 or whatever?

Really get the feeling that costa would do himself a massive favour by moving away from earth for the moment. His work in the ironhide series and with last issues rodimus plot was much better than most of the earth-based issues (thundercrackers "spotlight" excepted).

This is the make or break few issues for me. Megatrons return last issue sparked an interest but it needs to keep going. Another human story lull will kill this for me. And with no other series running side by side at the moment I feel its as good a time as any to jump-off. I'll give this plot 2 issues but if it feels like the last few I'm out.
